A handy snack
This is a good snack to go with a Sandwich. It is only mildly spicy in my opinion just about right. It is very easy to make in the microwave.

Surprisingly good!
I've had mixed luck with Dr. McDougall's line, generally like only about half of what I have tried, but lately things have been looking up. When I tried these, my expectations weren't great, but I was surprised. These were really very tasty and quite easy to prepare. The noodles had an excellent consistency and body. The sauce was good and spicy, but not too spicy. I could have eaten about twice as much (big guy talking here), but I found there was just enough to satisfy me for a quick lunch when I added a fruit side dish. The neat thing is that this is good enough that I will be looking forward to having it again. That's pretty good for an instant noodle cup type product. If you do the "subscribe and save" the price is competitive. I don't give 5 stars lightly, but I think this one deserves it. Not as good as local, but excellent for an instant product.

Good for a packaged convenience food
Make no mistake... this is a pre-packaged, instant convenience food. That said, it's quite good for what it is. Also easy to make: add water, microwave one minute on high, stir, microwave 4 minutes on low. I prefer that method to the microwave 2 minutes, let stand 10 minutes directions of many other Dr McDougall's soups. Unfortunately, my microwave doesn't have a high or low setting so it was just a little dry by the end of the last 4 minutes. I'd probably do 2 or 3 minutes for the second microwaving and see how that goes next time. I also think the packaging is a little misleading. It looks similar to the packaging of products like Annie Chun's Udon Soup Noodle Bowl in which you have more of a bowl or meal tray that contains noodles and flavor or sauce packets. It is in fact a soup cup to which you add water and flavor powder. I assumed the higher price (vs regular Dr McDougall's soup cups) and the description of 'Entree' meant it would be more like the former, with actual noodles and sauce. The noodles are much more like ramen noodles. That aside, the flavor is good, though I much prefer the Dr. McDougall's Right Foods Asian Entree, Spicy Kung Pao Noodle flavor, as it's a bit spicier (though still fairly mild for someone who likes things very spicy). Not bad but I probably won't be reordering.

Yuck.
I really like most of Dr. McDougall's products--vegan, low-fat, quick, easy to keep in a desk drawer--but this one didn't do it for me. I ordered a 6-pack online because my local co-op has a limited supply of McDougall products. First, it's double-packaged in cardboard--totally unnecessary. I received the packages, took off the outer layers, put them in my recycle bin at home, then took a pack to work. Much to my dismay, the inner package didn't include ingredient info so when I tried to read the details at work, I was out of luck. It was too sweet to eat. Granted, I have an underdeveloped sweet tooth, but I found this inedible. I'm trying to decide whether to throw the other 5 packages in the trash or give them away to my coworkers.

Easy to use, flavor not so much.
It was easy to use, I did not care for the sweet flavor and the spice was very mild. I had bigger expectations

Really impressed, great lunch/snack option.
Have been eating these for lunch. 200 calories, 1g of fat, 7 grams of protein. Good lunch with a good amount of protein. A little higher on sodium than I normally like to have, 480mg, but FAR FAR less than most cups like this. Compare to a similar "Cup o' noodles" with 1380 mg sodium. Bonus that this is vegan if that is important to you. Obviously anything with noodles is not the perfect choice if you are on a strict low carb diet. Taste was much better than I expected. Tip: When finished cooking, and after it sits for 30-60 seconds, add a tiny bit more hot water, I find about another 1/3 of the way up is good. I prefer mine to be a tiny bit less flavorful, and this is perfect for me.

Not spicy, not Asian, not to our taste.
We ate 1 and tossed away the other 5. It was not at all to our taste. It tasted neither spicy nor Asian. More like noodles in a vegetable soup. We went back to the SIMPLY ASIA brand we always enjoy. It is Spicy and Asian.

Not as good as I hoped
Container is the round cup style, not the bowl style picture when I ordered. Noodles are a good cut and texture. Dried veggies are not as small as some (positive) with some decent mushroom pieces. However, the overall taste is not good enough that I could recommend or that I would buy again. I am basically saving the remainder for when I run low on groceries and for an emergency stash.
