Anyone use with tretinoin? If so, which goes on first?

Can actually mix them, but if used separately, use niacinamide first. My mom is the actual user and researched the question. She did not derive any benefit from using niacinamide for discoloration. She naturally has no wrinkles and no one believes her age. She appears decades younger.
