The foundation of the E-Glide SS (Single Speed) E bike is a high quality 6061 aluminum frame, which provides a perfect balance of light weight, responsiveness, and forgiveness.This is one of the rare e bikes that looks, rides, and feels like a high quality road bike, nimble and agile. All components come from leading manufacturers. The most expensive and most critical component of any quality bike is the lithium battery. We use proven Samsung Lithium Ion cells. We use both a thumb throttle and a cadence sensing system for throttle control. Power without pedaling, or utilize one of five power settings for power assist. Full power assist is equal to a professional cyclist, it's like a supercharger. A combination of ultra light weight, direct drive brushless free spinning hub motor, and 700 series tires makes for a very efficient ebike with long, long range. The most common part of any bike to break is the gearing and derailing. Having a motor is really like having infinite gearing. So we made the SS a single-speed bike and prevented a lot maintenance headaches. We use mechanical components that can be serviced or replaced by any quality bike shop. The electronics are warranted and are easily swapable if you have any issues.
