The size is fine and very stable because of the heavy bottom metal stand holder. My only concern is the durability of the metal treads that connects the metal pipes and pieces.

this is a fairly lightweight unit, very easy to put together, very easy to adjust with the 'gooseneck' long enough to give taller people the ability to use the microphone at a height that suits them but also allows those of a shorter stature to use it as all. It was exactly what we needed, thank you!!
