I adopted two ferrets a few months back. They were on a very cheap diet and were very thin when i got them. I transitioned them over to this kibble slowly and after a few weeks, I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in their health and physical appearance. Their fur is so soft and plush! They smell better and they have gained a healthy amount of weight. In the beginning they did have some loose stools but over time it has improved. My babies love this food and I’m so happy with the results I’m seeing so far.

I started doing a mixture of this food with the Zupreem ferret food that I've been using ever since I got my ferrets. Alin was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and started losing his tail hair about a year or 2 ago, and it wouldn't grow back. He had horrible diarrhea and I started to fear it was getting to be that time... He's always kept his energy up though so we didn't want to cut him short when he seemed so happy. I started reading back reviews about the Zupreem food after I got irritated with their price constantly rising on Amazon. I decided to try out this food after much research. At first, they of course hated it and didn't want to eat much. But now that it's been over a month, about 2, they are eating normal amounts, and I would say the ratio is about 75% this food. Alin no longer has diarrhea, and his tail is absolutely full grown with hair. I want to say it looks like his tumor has shrunk but I think I'd be a little too optimistic... I am so impressed with this food that I will NOT be going back to the Zupreem diet. Do yourself and your ferrets a favor and switch over to this food! I'm so glad I finally did.

Good food for ferrets. Waaaaaay better than Marshall's which causes all kinds of problems for the fuzzy noodles!

I’ve been feeding my ferrets Wysong Epigen 90 for a while now and have been really happy with it. After switching, I noticed they had more energy, and their coats look softer and healthier. It also seems to agree with their digestion better than some other foods we’ve tried. I like that it’s high in protein and made specifically for ferrets instead of just being repurposed cat food. The kibble size is good, and they took to it pretty easily after a slow transition. Overall, it’s been a solid choice, and I plan to keep using it.

I love this food for our ferrets. And my ferrets love it as well. I buy 2 bags and another type of food and it lasts me almost 6 months. It is a very healthy food for ferrets and its a MUST have if you are feeding kibble to you fuzzies. I mix our half and half with another kind of food and keeps my ferrets healthy and happy. Be warned tho if feeding this alone it can cause tummy issues and cause lose stools in your ferrets. The price is actually a good price, there is cheaper prices with other food but they arent nearly as good for them as what this is. I always make sure to buy the white labled Wysong as they did change their formula a while ago and it did cause a lot of pets to become ill or more tummy issues, but this white label is GREAT for them. Its not overly flashy. All in All 4 out of 5 stars is my personal opinion as they dont come in 10 lb bags and that would make life a bit cheaper and with hassle od having 2 bags being delivered.

This is the only food I buy my ferrets. One of my ferrets who is 6 lost all her hair and was very thin…this came on suddenly and lasted a year I was trying everything not wanting to believe she had blood sugar problems or other common ferret problems the vet wanted to bandage not fix…when I looked back I realized I had fallen victim to traps of what the best food was and had changed her diet over the years from initially this to trying home cooked and other small brand options…long story short I thought this was expensive so I moved away from it seeking cheaper better food only to come back to where I started. Perfect Penny went from sick and bald to pudgy and fuzzy by the end of the bag. All my ferrets love it have energy, solid poop, beautiful fur, and one bag open bowl lasts 2 ferrets per month. Why I ever thought this was expensive is beyond me because it’s a great value.
