Very bad smell and taste

This Micro Ingredients Spirulina has become a staple in my morning routine for a clean, natural energy boost. I love that it’s 100% organic and filler-free, providing a dense source of vegan protein and vitamins without any gritty texture. It mixes surprisingly well into smoothies, and I’ve noticed a genuine improvement in my overall stamina since I started using it.

I blend mine with 4oz Tart Cherry juice and water. Yes...it smells bad...but it so good, and good for me too! I will be updating to a subscription order. It being a powerful antioxidant, good for your heart is all it took for me to add this to my routine.

I’ve been taking spirulina for a few years now, and Micro Ingredients Organic Spirulina Powder has quickly become one of my favorites. The quality is excellent, rich color, fine texture, and no unpleasant odor, which is a good sign of freshness. I really appreciate that it’s organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and contains no additives. It mixes well into smoothies and juices, and I love that it’s packed with plant-based protein, chlorophyll, and essential vitamins and minerals. For the price and the purity, this is an amazing value. I’ll definitely keep buying it!

This Spirulina Powder is perfect for the smoothie mixes I like to make in the morning. It blends well with everything from fruit, yogurt and other powders I add. However, it is extremely dark green and will turn everything as dark it comes in contact with. The first time I used it, I stared at the end product of my blending and thought 'Yikes" because it had turned everything into a very dark green mix. Once I got over that, I realized that the color is secondary and might be a sign how potent it is. I don't care too much for the flavor, which I can't describe easily, as I always throw many different items into the blender with it - however, it seems to add some taste that I wouldn't like much on its own. I sometimes mix a little bit into my dogs' food, and they don't mind it despite being picky. I will continue to use this organic powder in my regular smoothies I make from scratch because I believe that has a very good quality. Be a bit careful not to spill it on light colored items like clothing because it will stain them at least temporarily. Yup, that's how green this powder is. All considered, it is a great addition to your collection of health supplements.

Wow, they really vacuum seal these bags! When I received this bag, it was practically brick hard, as if the contents has frozen in there. I was a little nervous about what that might mean for the powder, but after I cut across the top and let some air out, it all changed. The powder was super vivid forest green; and it was soft and fluffy with constant little clouds of powder coming out of the bag. If I just sit here with the bag open, tiny green particles keep flying out on its own. This powder is extremely fine! That's a good thing since the finer the powdern the higher the quality, in most cases. The brilliant green color is wonderful, and it instantly provides energy and great health benefits. I believe everyone should be taking Spirulina and other natural supplements since the average American diet is way under proper nourishment. This Spirulina tastes pretty terrible to me, so I blended it with some other healthy powders- moringa, beet, and triphala- to make an awesome superfood health supplement! This way it's easy to take, I can share the wealth, and take in vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that my body needs for energy and proper nourishment. Encapsulating is definitely a good idea for those who simply don't make smoothies for all of their supplements every day, and for those who easily forget or need to take various health supplements. This is a great combo.
