Niviy Window Privacy Film 3D No Glue Static Cling, Pure 17.7"x 78.7"

Fast shipment and delivery. I really love it. It assures privacy but still keeps light filtration, looks like a real frosted glass. I wish that the film would stick to the surface more instantly. It could still move around even after few hours of the application so we need to be careful when wiping out to remove bubbles and extra water.

10/10 privacy lockdown and looks expensive as hell just don’t slack on your squeegee work or you’ll be staring at bubbles forever. Learn from my shortcut mistake: smooth it out right the first time and you'll love the results

Works Great , easy to install , I did it by myself , the only thing to keep in mind its too narrow and you should buy extra . You can still see outside but everything would be blurry obviously , when sun is out it creats that rainbow effect so pretty ! And no one can see inside if looking from outside

We've got a rather unhinged neighbor who is trying to say all the neighborhood cats are hers and she's somehow offended that several of us have been feeding them outside, like we are claiming them or something. My husband is also the type of neurodivergent where he can be a little too honest/bad at lying and he let it slip that we have 3 cats of our own. While he didn't say they came from this colony (they did) I could see this neighbor taking that thought leap and start trying to claim that our cats are hers. I was looking at these films as a heat reduction device but put them up immediately on the sections of window that my cats like to look through, since many cats like to look out the window. In daytime hours, even through dusk (like 7-8pm), these really effectively block outside views of the inside, so you can't even see my cats' faces right up on the window. as the listing says, at actual nighttime the reflective effect goes away and you can see in, so don't walk around in your birthday suit at night and expect these to block the view :) Installation was a bit tricky because I did not have a spray bottle handy, and one of the sheets did roll back onto itself sticky side down and have to be torn open again. That sheet has stayed wrinkly from the outside, and the others do have some bubbling, but they still block the view to my satisfaction. I do wish these came in more sizes but the 17.5 x 78 roll covered enough of 3 windows to keep the cats away from this nutcase's prying eyes, and we'll see about heat reduction in the house as the summer progresses. For 6 bucks I'm happy with this purchase, and my cats can safely look out the window again.

To give background - My husband and I bought our house a year ago after moving from another state 4 yrs ago. There are 2 neighbors who have been watching everything we do through our windows (yes, I am considering lawsuits). We decided on this window film because the design didn't have to be placed perfect for it to look good on the windows. We bought this design and one other (that one when we first moved) and have, in the past, bought black out window film when my husband worked 3rd shift. This is the easiest of the 3 types of films to install. It will overlap pretty easily if you don't want to trim it for a "2 panel" width area and wait to trim it up. It trims very easily with a utility knife. I have used one blade on a pair of scissors and had to push more into it, but they also cut when needed to. As far as light in and out, it has given us the best amount of sunshine through the design of all we have used and it looks nice on the windows. We liked that it came in more than just one or two sizes since we bought a roll to do out downstairs sliding doors with it. I also like that I can now raise my blinds and leave them up without concern over my neighbors seeing what is none of their business. Overall, if we need more to finish our windows I will be purchasing it from here as well. The only thing others should note is that if you buy more then one width at a time they will more than likely be shipped separate which was a little annoying but not a real big deal.

So many 1 stars, this tells me that they are not applying this film with enough soapy water! I can't emphasize enough how important it is to make sure to use a lot of soapy water when applying and take your time.. Spray on top as when removing bubbles, this will help the squeegee glide. If the corners peel, lift and spray more soapy water. Use a rubber squeegee at first. Once all the the bubbles are removed. Spray soapy water on the top and gently use a harder tool again with soap, did I say you can't use enough soapy water. I have done many windows using this product and each one came out great. ALSO! if you have a pet that sheds, make sure that you get the hair away from your area, if a hair or more gets underneath the film, it's noticeable, raise the film spray soap to the hair and remove with tape attached to tweezers. then repeat the process with ...yes, soapy water again.

It does have plastic film on the back even though it doesn't feel like it. It's very easy to install and trim, The colours are very vibrant.

It prevents people from seeing into your space during the daytime, but at night it does the opposite. How it works is that it reflects on the side with more light, so at night with more light inside your home from indoor lights it actually prevents you from seeing out. Definitely something to keep in mind! It also definitely does reduce the amount of heat that is radiated into your space by a lot! Before I would be concerned about waking up with the sun on me in the summer as I was worried about getting burned, but now I have no worries about that! It really does keep my room cooler in the summer and I wish I had bought this sooner for that reason if nothing else!

Hard to fully stick to glass, so you get some bubbles mostly noticeable on the opposite side. Very nice appearance though and looks durable.
