It has the same scent and consistency of the products I purchased in stores. I assume it’s the same.

Q: the first line of the ingredient list is" sodium c14-16 olefin sulfonate" please explain, it's most likely not a sulfate-free shampoo, am i right?

Based on chemistry, no. sulfonates are salts of sulfonic acids, which aren't directly related to sulfates. the only similarity is that they both contain sulphur. So, in answer to your question, it is sulphate free.
