It says in the ingredients that it contains alcohol.

Does this make your hair clump? or leave white flakes? or make it look oily?

I use this on my 3yr old daughter's hair. It does not make it oily or weigh it down. It defines her curls and they look great.

Is this a heat protectant?

No, it's not a heat protecting product. This is just to add volume when styling.

How is the smell of this product?

It smells light and fresh. This is the best hair mousse I have found yet after trying tons of different one!
