Good hydraulic pump. Worked fine for my dump trailer.Comes with Chinese fittings, but also has the American adapters Also has threaded holes on the bottom to screw in place. Remote control cord has a magnetic base that will stick anywhere you want it to metal.

It came in on time, good quality looking materials. Going to install it tomorrow.

Product works well, after reading some of the reviews i had concern but i received instructions with pump and two types of fittings. BTW the British threads that several users complained about are available at hydraulic stores there are several near me but the Custom Hydraulic people were top notch in mating up what i needed.The seller indicates it can be used in a vertical mounting position which the reviews said no. I have mine vertical and it works well,As far as wiring it is very simple red or positive to motor relay and black or ground to motor. The nuts were actually left loose to make it more obvious.Only negative so far is the down position does not have a check valve and in my application i need to hold at both ends of cylinder. Easy fix though a $65 2 way solenoid valve wired to be open during pump operation solves the issue. Would be nice to add some flow control but in this price range not happening. You can add flow control external if needed.Overall functional and cost effective for converting over and much cheaper and quicker than electric actuator

I did not like it. It did not work well with my dump truck very poorly designed.

The pump arrived as described. I was concerned about priming the pump/ picking up hydraulic oil or possible air trapped in the cylinder. I connected lines to cylinder and hit the button and it worked perfectly with no problems. I have ordered 90s to change direction of lines coming from the pump, currently they are straight out on both sides and require more space. The area I plan to use works better with the lines coming up from the pump. I gave 4 stars because there seems to be some fluctuation with the cylinder, after letting go of the up/down button the piston doesn’t immediately stop, it seems to float a little bit either up or down. Maybe it’s the wrong type of pump for what I’m using it for but it works. I’m using it on a hydraulic press I built. I have a 12v battery with a trickle charger connected to keep the battery charged.

I am happy with the unit overall. The hydraulic fittings are British standard, which is fine if you happen to live in England. If you want SAE, pull the fittings and replace with JIC, works great. One problem I am having is in going down mode my lift table falls like a rock and don't understand how to fix it? Everyone mentioning NO INSTRUCTIONS makes sense, all they have to do is post them online, easy right?.KenI wanted to update my comments. The unit has a check valve on the pressure port. Take out the hose fitting the check valve will turn out counterclockwise with a straight screwdriver. This is a pressure activated check valve that must be set by the manufacturer for about 10000 lbs. This valve allows the hydraulic fluid to flow out at high volume, but going down or the fluid returning pushes the plunger closed slowing the descent of the hydraulic ram. I modified the check valve for my application, I have a lift table which will lift between 500-1500 lbs. This check valve is ideal because the more weight I have on the lift table the slower it descends, it is pressure activated. It works perfectly.

Packaging is not sufficient to protect the electronic relays. The box arrived with the unit shipped upside down and the little clear plastic housing for the relays were broke. I took them off my old pump to make this one functional.I use this pump to operate an 18" cylinder on a tilt-bed shed delivery trailer. I searched until I found this specific model, with the box-shaped tank. The old pump on the trailer had a round tank. My old pump lasted about 3 years with nearly daily operation. Both the old and new pumps use a pair of 1" long bolts (not included) to mount, from the underside. On the old pump, these bolts kept breaking or coming out, due to the heavy vibration on the trailer. It had no other way to secure the pump. On this new pump, I added a piece of 8" channel iron to the trailer frame to support the box tank, and be able to strap it down to hopefully reduce the vibration and keep the bolts from breaking or unscrewing.Of particular note is that the brass hose fittings provided did not match up with my hydraulic hoses and I had to search several parts stores to find hose adapters that fit. The parts store guy said the female sockets in the pump manifold were "5 boss" size. My hoses used "6 boss".Also, this pump sometimes coasts and doesn't always act as a brake if you have a hydraulic cylinder extended with weight on it. There were some holes on the top of the pump motor housing that I was concerned might let water in, so I sealed them with RTV Silicon. This pump was mounted low on a trailer, so I sealed all the electronic parts with RTV.

Works as needed, cheaper than in physical store.
