excellent concentrate with great taste.
I donโt need to bring bottles from the store anymore and thatโs great. i have fizzy soda water machine and can make a glass of tonic water quickly. I donโt see well enough to measure I just add more concentrate or more water until it tastes right. excellent product i will keep buying.

Workd
It took me a couple of tries to get the right amount but I use this with my soda stream and it makes such wonderful tonic water with this syrup. It has a nice strong quinine โtonicโ taste without tasting overly sweet like those more well-know cheap brands in a can. And cheaper than buying expensive Indian tonics and mediterranean and uses less waste of resources of all those bottles and cans.

Soda Stream + Top Hat Tonic = Best of Both Worlds
Hats off to you Top Hat. Your tonic is amazing. After acquiring a Soda Stream as this year's Prime Day find, Then discovering the "flavors" make you want to light your tongue in fire, went on a hunt for just a Tonic syrup. Almost bought a much more expensive brand but just wasn't convinced. Eventually found Top Hat & despite mixed reviews, liked the blend. I think it tastes like normal tonic. Slight grapefruit hint maybe but, more herbal like Gin. Without a doubt, one of the better tonics period. Mixed with all the Gins. Tanqueray, Bombay East & Sapphire. Hendricks Original & Orbium. What's nice with Top Hat's syrup, same as Soda Stream, You can make a mix for you. Sometimes there's a bit of recipe in the making but somehow works out in the end. Plus there's always bitters and/or lime to even out the flavor. We're not soda people except for mixers but are Eco & sugar conscious. Now, only using one soda bottle, refill the Co2 & much less sugar in the tonic. To Quote Van Halen (RIP Eddie) "If we could have the best of both worlds.." It would be a Soda Dream & Top Hat Tonic.

Too subtle quinine flavor makes it cost prohibitive
I like this tonic syrup (I've already ordered it twice, so I must! :) ). Of the several tonic syrups I've tried, this is by far the best, but it's still not quite "there." Perhaps a bit more quinine to give that more familiar tonic taste would help. As is, I have to use more than the recommended amount to get a good flavor with my gin cocktails, so it's really not worth the money to me. It's got a mild flavor, only suggestive of store-bought tonic . . . . it's more like a whispered memory of Canada Dry's tonic water than a replacement. This is okay, though, since it doesn't have all the chemicals and high fructose corn syrup of that and other store-bought brands. It's handy to have around if you run out of tonic or if you are avoiding high fructose corn syrup. I do wish that it came in a glass bottle and not plastic.

This is not Schweppes or Canada Dry (thank goodness)
I've been buying this for a couple of years now and LOVE IT. I cannot order Vodka Tonics in a bar anymore because this has spoiled me. IF you like drinking sugar, then keep drinking Canada Dry or Schweppes. 5/1 ratio with a squeeze of lime is a really refreshing drink with just enough bitterness to provide a zip. I will say the price has gone up significantly as I think the first bottle i ever bought was around 11 dollars a few years ago, then 17, and now 27. Still, by the amount you get, it's cheaper than other syrups you can buy as most of them are sold in smaller quantities at a similar cost. However, if you love your tonic sweet, and need to use more than the recipe amount, then this is quite pricey. Right now, at 27 a bottle, you are looking at 32/5oz tonics @ 82 cents, which is really good tbh. Right now 24/5 oz of Fever Tree is $25. So that put's it at just a shade over the dollar.
