Mine arrived with exactly 16 grub screws and no spares. Aren't these supposed to have a few spare screws? Thanks

Mine didn’t even come with the 16 it’s supposed to be included. However, I work as a forklift mechanic and acquiring odd screws are no big deal for me. If you want to purchase some yourself, the setscrew is an M4 X 0.80 (4mm diameter with a pitch of 0.8mm between threads). 6mm length is perfect.

Does this come with cleats to attach to a shoe, and will it fit a 2 hole shoe?

To make a slight correction to the other answer, these pedals come with SH-56 cleats (not SH-51). At least, that's what the product description says and that's what was included in my Shimano factory box. There's not much difference between SH-51 and SH-56 cleats (56 are slightly easier release for beginners), they're both standard Shimano 2-hole MTB pedal cleats.

are these for road bikes?

They will fit on a road bike. They are designed for riders who split time between casual shoes and cycling shoes with SPD cleats.

Perfekter Kompromiss für Sport und Alltag

Ich habe die PD-EH500 jetzt seit einiger Zeit an meinem Rennrad montiert und bin absolut zufrieden. Ich nutze sie hauptsächlich mit meinen Shimano-Fahrradschuhen für die sportlichen Runden – das Einklicken klappt super und man hat einen richtig guten, stabilen Stand. Der große Pluspunkt für mich ist aber die Flexibilität: Wenn ich mal eben schnell zum Bäcker oder eine kurze Strecke fahre, kann ich einfach mit normalen Sneakern aufs Rad steigen, ohne ständig die Schuhe wechseln zu müssen. Die Plattformseite hat durch die Pins ordentlich Grip, super auch bei Schuhen mit flacher Sohle. Für alle, die ihr Rad nicht nur für das reine Training nutzen, sondern auch mal im Alltag flexibel sein wollen, sind die Pedale perfekt. Die Verarbeitung ist shimano-typisch top. Kann ich absolut empfehlen!
