The costume arrived very wrinkled. How can this best best be remedied? Can it be washed?

It can be washed. I did it in a washing machine, on cold.

Is the back zipper or velcro ?

The blue dress has a zipper and the white apron ties. No velcro.

What is the fabric content/material?

Not sure because there is no tag anywhere on the dress that states what it is made out of. Taking a guess possible nylon material.

Im 5'0 and a size 00 or an XS would a S fit me?

My daughter is also 5'0 and she's 100 lbs, and a 32 B, I ordered a small for her and it fits perfect. If your measurements are smaller then her then yes I would go with an extra small. She's a size 1 in jeans. She said that the apron since it ties you can cinch in the dress around the waist if it's a bit big on you. That's what she did with her dress. The dress is slighty big only when she does not tie it.
