We didn't know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised it was so much fun for a cute Easter craft.

Bought as Easter gifts for 5 yr old grandson and three yr old granddaughter..These are great so easy and kids loved them ..worth every penny and they were not expensive

This would be a little messy for a young child to put together. But I assembled it before giving it to my 3-year-old niece and she loved it. The detail painting on the unicorns is really nice, considering how small they are (it's not sloppy). I wish they had cut a small opening in either the plastic dome, or the wooden base, so the cord to the lights wasn't crushed when you put the dome on. I carefully chiseled out a little notch at the bottom edge of the dome & that worked. It also would have been nice if the battery case had been attached to the bottom of the light itself, rather than dangling by the cord, since this is designed for kids, and young kids love to carry things around. As another reviewer noted, the package makes it look cheap, like a dollar-store item, which makes it less giftable. I paid $23 and I feel like it was a decent value. It's very cute with the lights on, and with an older child, you'd get the added value of the fun of them being able to "craft" it. Battery case, containing 2 AA batteries, is under the base, in the "finished item" photo, so you can see how big it is.

Super cute and fun to do! My 6 yo sister is in her crafty/artistic era and she was absolutely stoked to make this! Quality is good. I would say age range is 6+, with adult supervision and help.

Bought this as an extra gift for a little girl who loves Unicorns. It was smaller than expected, but very cute. She loved it.

So this was the second one we got, and it didn’t really fox the issue. It really is just very, very cheaply made; no way it is actually worth the price tag. However, I’ll admit my 6yo daughter really likes it. She liked getting to make it and she loves having it for a bedside nightlight. BUT the tree will not stand up. The lid has to be on to keep it in place, which was why we returned the first one, but the second one is no better. Also, it devours batteries. It would be greatly improved if they could make it dimmable too, but it just dims as the batteries die. As pictured, it does come with two lights, which use different batteries, one uses 2 double As, and the other uses 3 LR44s. My daughter likes it enough we’re going to tolerate the battery consumption, but I hope a better option comes along. It’s a fun idea that they craft it.

Great gift

My niece loves creating things. I looked for something crafty that would be fun to put together, but also something that she could look at all the time. She put it together with ease and had so much fun doing it and it's in her bedroom. It was something that she will have for a while and it makes me happy that she thinks of us when she looks at it. Definitely recommend!
