Is this paraben free?

No, it is not. INCI name is: Propylene Glycol (and) Diazolidinyl Urea (and) Methylparaben (and) Propylparaben.This is a preservative for difficult and challenging to preserve products that contains clays, aloe vera, hydrosols, botanical powders et.c. You can use another broad spectrum, paraben free preservative if you have a lotion or cream that doesn't have any of the ingredients mentioned above.

I don't see any mention of amount included in ounces. I did see there is enough for 12 lbs of lotion but I would like to know exactly how much.

The bottles are not labeled but I ordered the 2oz product. The bottle looks like about travel size. I weighed it in the bottle and it came to about 2.6oz.

I add a small amount to water based projects such as shampoo, to prevent spoilage.
