Very dense memory foam...you literally will not 'hit bottom' on these ...I got this for my car, but was at a friends house who has cast iron patio furniture and felt just fine with this, and I'm a guy over 200lbs. Also, I bought the one with the black '3D' cover which gives it just the right grip on my leather car seat. Makes any seat better, this is the one to get, you'll want to bring this with you everywhere.

I bought this pad for a counter wood stool...slight problem, trying to keep it on the seat.Slides off , not for wood chairs.Not returning because I will use it on another chair.Nice quality

Not bad. Office chair had felt like I was sitting on a piece of wood so needed some cushion. I rotate it and after a few months it is still holding its shape as expected of memory foam.
