Love the mortar and the pestle - they grind, smash, pulverize just as advertised - they are both very heavy and also hold things down very well, very well - and they look great too, very classic mortally/pestlely vibe - I highly recommend for all your grinding, smashing, pulverizing needs

Très beau mortier, lourd et solide, fait très bien le travail. Il faut cependant mettre un sous-plat antidérapant dessous si on ne veut pas abîmer son comptoir. Il aurait été bien que le fabricant pense à mettre une matière antidérapante sous le mortier. À ce prix, je suis satisfaite de mon achat.

It came broken. Very sad as i was hoping to use

It feel quality, did the proper seasoning, takes more than the video recommends. It's a bit small if definitely go up a size if you plan to use it a lot and for all sorts of things. It's actually pretty small.

Omg. This thing is a little heavier than I anticipated. But it works amazing, if you have joint issues, move one piece at a time. I have really bad arthritis and surgery on my wrists. Its just so easy if you go slow.
