This a perfect match for my VW. Easy to install and has not glitched out yet. A perfect remedy for the cargo area light.

I installed this light in my 2022 ram 2500 and it really changes the amount of lighting that comes with the stock dome(back seat) light. Way brighter. So far so good. I wish they made a light for the map light in my dodge. I’d buy one for sure.

These bulbs do not allow the interior reading and dome lights (of a 2004 Ram) to function the same as the original incandescent bulbs. They only illuminate when the door is openned (or the vehicle is remotely unlocked). If you want them to function you need to turn the dimmer switch to full on or open the glove box (the bulb in it seems to create the required resistance for them to operate).
