Good so far-update
My senior kitty has lost weight and has recently been throwing her food up. Hopefully this helps her gain some weight. She has only had it for a few days so I donโt know how well it works yet. I will update in a few weeks. However it must not taste good, she will absolutely not eat it so I need to use a syringe to get it in her. On the plus side she doesnโt spit it out. Update:: She seems to have gained a slight bit of weight I wouldnโt say a huge amount but she definitely feels heavier. Also I donโt know if itโs the medication, but she seems to have more of an appetite recently and is going to eat more than before. She also vomits less so Iโm hoping her stomach is expanding and getting used to eating larger amounts. I bought the 3 pack so still have two to go. After those Iโll update with any more results or changes. I figure it definitely canโt hurt continuing if she hasnโt gotten sick and did in face gain weight. ๐ค

First 3 Ingredients: Vegetable Oil, Sugar, Water
For a cat who's lost weight due to cancer, this would just feed her cancer and kill her faster! NO Thanks. Easy to apply, bait for mice traps, at best!

This is an excellent product it just needs to have more flavors like chicken
I really like this product it seemed to work really well for my cat and they seem to like it I just wish that there was more flavors like chicken cuz my cats are mostly chicken eaters they don't like the beef or salmon or tuna so if they had chicken I think that would be best because a lot of cats like chicken all right well that's my opinion thank you

Hopefully will be saving my cat's life!
My 18 yr. old cat (Angel) suddenly went off her feed and began losing weight on a drastic level. She went from 12 1/2 lbs to under 5 in a matter of weeks. She's refusing even canned wet food, which she loves & we normally gave our cats for a treat. All she'd do is drink large amounts of water & sleep, and then she cut back on drinking, too. About the only thing she's eating now is Friskies Temptations Treats in small amounts. It wasn't hard to figure out she needed drastic intervention. She was started on a strong thyroid supplement (thank goodness she takes pills fairly easily!) and I bought this Pet-Ag High Calorie supplement to at least get something into her. She liked the flavor & would lick small amounts of my finger or I'd put a little blob directly into her mouth. [It's a good idea to first put down a tea towel to protect whatever surface you're working over as this is a sticky gel that can be a bit messy.] Also, if your cat isn't licking the gel off completely you'll have to wash any part of your kitty that it gets on as it hardens on their fur when it dries. Mine currently isn't doing much grooming so it's up to me. :( I also diluted a small amount of gel with some clear salt-free beef broth (I was making soup ) and gave her some of this via a syringe directly into her mouth. This got more fluids in as well as some calories. Her appetite started to pick up a little after a day or so, so I cut back on the supplement a bit, but then noticed she wasn't as energetic when I did, so back she went on this Pet-ag gel. I've been trying this for a week now & have been feeding her an all-protein wet cat food (she only eats about a half -teaspoonful each time, so I offer it every few hours) and give her this Pet-Ag in between. She definitely has more energy, though nothing like her normal self. It'll take time for her to (hopefully) come around & improve. I'll try to get back & update this review in a week or two with -maybe- happy results. Oh, and I compared the ingredients in Pet-Ag to the other high-calorie supplements and despite the fact it's lower in price it actually has higher nutrients & a somewhat denser calorie count (200 calories per tsp) than some. All in all I can highly recommend this product for anyone's furry friend! :)

Cat will not take, unless I force him
Old cat only takes it if I use a syringe plunger to force him
