For this price really good stuff, but be carefull not to cut yourself

I replaced my ancient knife block with this one, and the size is perfect. The knives stand fairly straight up so it takes up less space. I have it pushed against the wall and it's nice that there's room to pull out the knive without hitting the cabinet above the counter. It's a nice wood with plenty of slots for knives including my thick scissors that I use for cutting up meat.

This is still the best chef's knife I own. The feel, weight, balance, durability, sharpness. I've gotten "better" more expensive knives, but this one always wins. I now have three of them. One is 15 years old! Zero rust, and sharpens like new.
