Is there extra blades for this?

Update. Comes with one blade installed and one with as a spare. They listened!

What are the dimensions when it's folded up? Is the blade completely enclosed so that it won't snag while in my pack?

Longest measurements off a solid surface = 13-7/8 x 1-13/16 x 1-1/8. The blade is enclosed for the most part but there are two small openings (1/4" and 1/2") where material could be pushed into and get snagged. It won't be a problem though if you keep the plastic blade guard on before folding it back up.

Is the tab that holds the blade near the handle plastic or metal?

The green handle is plastic. All other parts are metal including the male “tab” that inserts into the end of the saw blade.
