Compact and works well!
At first, I was surprised for its tiny size. Very compact. Ideal for travelers. Provides a close shave and works really well. Simply requires two AA batteries. Works better for busy people who don’t have a time to charge it or who don’t like to hassle with various cords and adopters. Easy to clean. Simple brushing is all it takes. Great value for the price. Highly recommended!

Surprisingly Close, Quiet, and Perfect for Travel
Surprisingly Close, Quiet, and Perfect for Travel This little Panasonic ES-RS10 travel shaver punches well above its weight. I originally picked it up as a backup, but it’s become my go-to for quick, clean shaves on the road. It runs on two AA batteries—no cords, no charging delays—and the motor feels strong enough to handle a full morning shave. It’s compact, lightweight, and fits neatly into a dopp kit or even a jacket pocket. For such a small unit, it gives a surprisingly close and even shave with minimal irritation. The foil is well designed, and the blades glide smoothly over the skin. I’ve used it both dry and with a dab of pre-shave lotion, and the results are consistently good. Battery life is excellent—weeks of use before swapping out the AAs. Build quality feels sturdy, with that classic Japanese precision Panasonic is known for. It doesn’t include a trimmer or travel case, and cleaning takes a quick tap or brush-out rather than rinsing under water. Still, that’s a minor tradeoff for something so portable and reliable. Bottom line: A small, well-built shaver that performs like a full-size model. Ideal for travel, office touch-ups, or minimalist grooming setups. One of those rare inexpensive gadgets that you’ll actually keep using.

It has its pluses and minuses
This is a well made, handy little shaver that’s great for travel, or even home use. The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is that it doesn’t shave me quite as close as the Panny 3831K I bought at the same time. I looked at all the reviews here and on the web for a small travel shaver. Ideally I wanted a wet/dry shaver that was well rated, and the 3831K ticked all the boxes there. But I really liked what I saw for this tiny RS10, even if it wasn’t washable. Sure enough it shaves very nicely with either a powder or a liquid pre-shave. It’s also highly maneuverable because of its small size. Even with its small size it has a nice, solid feel. But since I wanted something I could just run under a hotel faucet for cleaning, I also got the 3831K. I tested both over several days by first shaving with one, and then doing another pass with the other, to see if it picked up anything the first didn’t. When I used this shaver first followed by the 3831K, the latter consistently did a better job of leaving a smooth finish. When I started with the 3831K, the RS10 had really nothing left to do on its pass. So either way it seems it didn’t shave me quite as close as the other. That’s not to say this is an unworthy shaver. It has its advantages. It is more maneuverable than the 3831K, as I said before. It also glides during shaving a bit more smoothly. Not sure how this can be, since it looks like both use the same foil. I can only guess the slight added bulk of the 3831K makes it a tiny bit more cumbersome for me to use. Which leads to the last point in favor of the RS10 - it’s way smaller than the other one, making it a perfect kit traveling shaver, if you don’t mind dry brushing to clean it. I’m keeping both. The RS10 shave is “close enough” for me, but the 3831K will probably get used more while traveling since it’s washable. Gotta love the RS10, though - it’s a nice piece of engineering!

Much better than the Braun M-90 ...
Altho I've only been using it for ~10 days this is hugely better than the Braun M-90 shaver I've been using for over 10 years. I've used the Braun M-90 with a 3.7V lithium ion rechargeable battery along with a dummy cell so it's been 'over driven' all that time without any issues. Normal total voltage with standard AA cells is 3.0V. The over voltage provides a significant improvement in performance compared with using two standard AA cells. Along with a slight weight savings. But I've been unhappy with the shave provided. It missed hairs in areas where they grew flat so I had to periodically follow up with a safety razor. Because of this I went thru a period when I tested quite a few stupid expensive electric shavers but since NONE of them provided any better of a shave (along with being bulky) I returned to the Braun M-90. But lately I've also been having an issue with the Braun M-90 foils wearing quite quickly - usually within 4 months - when they're supposed to be good for ~1 year. And, no, they weren't counterfeit because I would buy the Braun M-60 shaver just for the foil & cutter specifically to avoid the issue with counterfeits or inferior products. I've been reluctant to try another electronic shaver after my previous experience with other electronic shavers & because I couldn't find a travel shaver with a hair trimmer. But I finally gave up on the idea of a shaver with a built-in hair trimmer & bought the Schick Hydro Silk Perfect Finish Trimmer here on Amazon (currently discounted!) which I'm quite pleased with. Much easier to use than the Braun M-90 built-in hair trimmer & it also has a wider cutting blade making it much easier to cut errant head hairs. I'm currently also using the Panasonic overvoltaged & so far haven't had any issues. It does a MUCH, MUCH better job at shaving than the Braun M-90 did. No issues with missing hairs growing flat. And aside from a few days for my face/neck to get used to the difference in shaving it's been absolutely stellar. Do wish it came with a built-in hair trimmer though. But ... still ... the combined weight of the Panasonic shaver & Schick hair trimmer is only ~40 grams (~1.4 oz) more than the Braun M-90 shaver alone so there's not much of a difference in weight. Plus, the Schick hair trimmer is much easier & faster to use so all in all I'd say that's a win.

It's a very special object. Vintage sort of, works well although it isn't very powerful. It's small form factor is a perfect fit in your travel bag ... plus you never have to look for your plug, it's battery powered. I put in fresh batteries before every trip and so far I've never run out of power. Japan made so you do feel the quality. Recommended.

He tenido muchos años la misma máquina de la antigua marca Sanyo. La vuelvo a comprar (ahora Panasonic) por su extraordinaria calidad.
