Hp site says 300 pages per cartridge for this part number, not 700

if you have hp 564 3 color pack do you need to buy hp 564 black also to print pictures?

Assume the printer will work but it's likely black is needed even if one is just printing pictures. Buy the Black 564 XL cartridge which has twice the black ink. It usually last about as long as the regular 564 tri-color cartridges. Although one can buy the 564 XL tri-color cartridges as well.

Does black come with this?

It most certainly does. It has to be ordered with the other two.

I have tried twice and can't get cartridges to work on my HP. Do these work on a 6525 printer ?
