Banjo-Tooie - Nintendo 64

This is a great sequel to a great game. In some ways it was a little strange, given once you beat the game there wasn't anything else to do and all the stages felt emptied of their content. But while you're playing it it's nice. I waited for this game to come out and bought it on release day, and I was very happy with it.

This game worked well and we received it in about 2 days. We got a nice note from the seller and we are enjoying playing the game. Thanks

Great game. Nintendo needs to update the game to fix certain rendering issues.in my opinion it is easier than the first one. however it does get a lot harder as you progress through the story-line.

I love this game. The gameplay and mechanics are just as sound. New elements and moves are added, keeping the experience fresh!

Oh wow where do I begin with this game. First things first this an absolute must, easily one of the greatest games of all time and always will be. Depending on your generation I would think most gamers have experienced this amazing game who were fortunate enough to. The game is perfection but I still enjoyed Banjo kazooie a little more which had a little more magic than Banjo tooie, but back to what I'm reviewing. Banjo tooie in my opinion needs no intro and is a total no brainer. I strongly believe that people really should know how awesome this game is and if you don't I think that's weird and that you gotta get out from underneath your rock. They still have a lot of copies here on Amazon if you missed out on this masterpiece but you might have a little trouble finding a copy in good condition for a cheap price good luck. They don't make games like this anymore those days are gone and these days kids just have to suffer with the crap that's made. Some people are a little late to the party and that's beyond sad because things just aren't what they used to be. Banjo tooie is a thrill ride from beginning to end but I'm sure most gamers who grew up in the 80s and 90s already know that. I always thought this was one of the greatest n64 games ever and nothing quite like it in gaming period. There's a lot of things I liked better in this game than the first one and that are very memorable. It's still kind of hard to compare these two games to each other because of the fact that they both have their moments where they shine so very brightly. I consider these games as one game one story which is why I brought up banjo kazooie, so do yourself a favor and track down yourself a copy of each if you didn't already. As I stated before people should know about this game and if you don't you absolutely must get this ASAP and where have you been anyway? This game will always hold a very special place in my heart and I hope future generations will do the same for themselves.. Hands down a fantastic game!!!!!! The entire game just keeps you wanting to continue to play and always want to return and play it again!! I still play it even after all this years.

I used to play this game all the time as a kid, so I thought I'd buy it for nostalgia sakes. It's truly one of a kind, probably one of the best N64 games I've ever played! I used to be so afraid of playing this game alone (seriously, it's not scary, I was just a really sheltered kid) I used to be so afraid of the gruntydactyls (flying dragon-like enemies, with big noses), that I'd have to pause the game and wait for someone to come sit with me. The game has a dark undertone, but primarily focuses on humor using jokes and funny phrases... I mean, one of the characters is named Jiggywiggy!Anyway, it's a fun, timeless game! I'm a bit disappointed that Nintendo gave it up to another company, it would have been cool to play it over the Nintendo Wii...I'd reccomend this game to anyone looking for an older game to play, again, it's one of the best!Oh, and... I'm still sort of afraid of the Gruntydactyls...actually...I'm still afraid of most the content in this game...don't mind me.

Brilliant game

Banjo Tooie hätte genial werden können, aber ich finde man hat an vielen Stellen doch etwas übertrieben mit der Komplexität und Größe. Ich finde Banjo Kazooie besser. In Banjo Kazooie gab es einen gewissen Wellness-Faktor, die Musik, die Welten, die Charaktere, alles war viel friedlicher man fühlte sich einfach wohl in den Welten und wollte diese oft nicht verlassen, bei Tooie kommt dieser Wohlfühlfaktor nicht auf, man ist bei vielen Welten und vielen Puzzellos einfach froh das Ding in der Tasche zu haben und denkt nur, "so schnell brauch ich das nicht wieder".Die Unterschiede zu Banjo Kazzoie:1) Die Größe:Die Welten sind viel größer als in Banjo Kazzoie und teils sehr verwirrend, dass man sogar nach öfterem Durchspielen die Welt gedanklich nicht im Kopf hat. Hier helfen nur die vielen Teleporter, mit denen man sich warpen kann, sonst würde man den Überblick komplett verlieren. Große Welten sind gut aber dann vom Design noch verwirrend? Das war mir zu viel, eine Map hätte hier sicher gute Dienste geleistet.2) Extreme Charaktere:Jaja, der britische Humor, den kennen wir spätestens mit Conkers Bad Fur Day. Man hat's auch mit den Charakteren übertrieben: Gruntilda als verknöcherte, verweste Leiche, Bottels der stirbt und wiederbelebt wird, Aliens und Ufos, Dirty Hamburger Verkäufer, die sich vor dem Verkauf die Arschritze kraulen, Terminator als Boss, Neandertaler Höhlenmenschen, die sich Fast food wünschen - wer's noch nicht gezockt hat, das ist alles kein Scherz, das ist in Tooie normal und für mich eben too much und einfach nur noch strange. Allein um eine Welt zu öffnen muss man in den Tempel des großen Puzzello gehen, der einem mit seiner gewaltigen Macht die Welten öffnet. Wenn ich da an Banjo Kazzoie denke, ein Eichhörnchen das Eicheln braucht, oder ein Captain der deinen Goldschatz verloren hat, es war einfach stimmiger.3) Ungemütliche Atmosphäre:Gegner kommen immer wieder, man hat also keine Ruhe, noch dazu finde ich den Soundtrack wesentlich penetranter als im 1. Teil, das sorgt alles dafür, dass man sich in den Welten nicht so gerne aufhält. Durch die Größe der Welten hat man oft mega Areale für ein einziges Puzzello. Wirkt viel liebloser als Teil 1. Bottels wurde durch Militärinstructor Jamjars ersetzt, ja das alles ist sinnbildlich für die Atmosphäre im ganzen Spiel4) Komplexität:Man kann die Welten nicht gleich zu 100% lösen. Ein Puzzello der 4. Welt kann man erst in der allerletzten Welt lösen z.B. Es gibt viele, viele neue Moves und Banjo und Kazzoie können und müssen sich oft trennen. Die Moves haben mir aber sehr gut gefallen, die Charaktere können am Ende des Spiels echt extrem viel. In jeder Welt gibt es ein Verwandlung und Mumbo Jambo ist als Charakter spielbar, man muss mit ihm magische Aufgaben lösen, das fand ich auch relativ interessant, auch wenn in einigen Welten die Verwandlungen auch wieder extrem strange waren, wie die Welten selber und die Charaktere.Fazit:Banjo Tooie ist größer, komplexer, schwerer und stranger als Banjo Kazzoie - wer ein forderndes und komplexes jump'n run sucht, ist hier sicher richtig. Wer den ersten Teil sehr mochte, wird vom Nachfolger nicht so begeistert sein.

Ich fande Banjo Kazooie immer überragend aber jetzt seit dem ich tooie gespielt habe rückt der Teil ein bisschen in den Hintergrund ein Klassiker so zu verbessern hut ab mal davon ab ist n64 eh eine geile Konsole!
