Just what I needed for a safety line cutter knife for kiteboarding. The sheath is snug enough, but I used some electrical tape to make sure it doesn't slip out accidentally.

Die "zivile" Variante des Rettungstools. Es underscheidet sich nur in der Scheide von der Army-Variante. Die "zivile" Version hat ein Gürtelklipp ( der sehr klein ist) und ein Molleadapter. Die Militarversion nur Aufnahmepunkte für das Gerber Taclock-system (nicht mit anderen Herstellern kompatibel) und eine Extrasicherung gegen Rausfallen. Die Schneidleistung ist sehr gut. Paracord, Jeans, Gurte, mit mehr Kraft Leder. Ersetzt im Notfall auch die Schere. Wenn Gerber die Messerscheiden überarbeiten würde wäre es ein Topprodukt.

Le tranchant est redoutable. La forme est bien pour protéger d'une mauvaise manipulation. Acheté pour la sécurité en kayak de mer, il est très efficace pour trancher un bout. ajout commentaire après plusieurs mois d'utilisation : utilisé en sécurité coupe bout fixé au gilet de sauvetage. Utilisation un peu détournée...coupe très bien (très efficace, bonne prise avec une seule main, tenue dans le fourreau fourni très bonne et facile à extraire. Seul moins du produit à relativiser par une utilisation en milieu salin (mer)...il rouille à certains endroits. Selon l'utilisation qui en est faite, il peut donc rester un excellent outil tout de même.
