Great screen, meeting all expectations!

Nice size monitor, decently light, and the slight curve makes it a nice transition for someone who is used to looking at a flat screen. However, the built in speakers are garbage. The sound is botchy and cuts out (every other second it cuts out!). In fact, there's virtually no point in having speakers in the monitor because it's pretty horrible quality. Other than the speakers, it gets the job done nicely.

This Z Z-EDGE 27” curved monitor completely exceeded my expectations! The 1800R curve really pulls you into the screen—whether I’m gaming or watching movies, the immersion is next level. I barely used it for the first few months I purchased it (maybe 2 hours per week MAX). I’ve been using it for work for the last four days and it’s started glitching and shutting down. The monitor has never experienced anything that could cause damage to this degree and has barely been used. I wouldn’t recommend this product. If you can, invest in something higher quality with tech support and insurance.

When I first looked at my wallpaper image on the screen, all I could think was Wow! The image has a lot of pinpoints of light as stars which I never knew were sharp. Everything was bright vivid and clear. I had not seen such clarity on a screen since I briefly had an Apple Retinal Display. I sent that back because it would not work right with the scroll-zoom feature that we low vision users depend on. I got a MAC Mini instead, which gives me choices on displays. I intended to order the 30" and accidentally bought this one. It's not a bad size and I didn't return it for an exchange because the picture was so good I was afraid the larger one might not be as clear. This one does not have any internal program that allows you to tinker with the settings which the 30 inch does. On my MAC Mini, the only thing I can do is go into system preferences and adjust the gamma and also opt for the blue light reduction. Frankly, the picture is so good that I don't feel the need to to alter settings other than using the blue light feature. I opted to leave the blue light reduction on from 10 am to 10 am so that it is always on, because the screen is too bright for my extreme light sensitivity. I can always turn it off when I need to tweak the colors of an image, etc. What impresses me most about this screen is that the various tones in the darker shadows can be distinguished, whereas on my Viewsonic, they were all muddled together. The extreme range of tones on this screen is remarkable, especially given the price category. You can't beat the curved screens for low vision users, because when you sit closer to the screen, the sides are the same distance from your eyes as the middle. The 30 inch would have been better but this is definitely functional in that regard. I will never go back to a flat screen. Even though I do graphic design and being able to judge straight lines is critical, my brain has adjusted to the curvature. I don't even notice it anymore. I had no problem attaching the stand. If you move the attachments to the proper angles, they fit perfectly and I used a standard screw driver. The stand is a bit thin, so I can't move the display by pushing on the display itself. I have to grasp the feet and move them to move the display where I need it. Frankly, I am glad that the makers skimped on the stand in order to put more into the display itself because I now have a really nice screen that I can afford.

Good monitor for the price. Easy to use and connect. I liked the joistick/toggle tht has in the back to configure. Does come with an HDMI cable and connection to my laptop was easy. This will be. Work monitor, not gamer myself but I do see this would work well to watch movies or videos in it. The included speakers have good sound for the size, so that is a plus. The base frame is sturdy as made out of metal and comes with all hardware, BUT the only problem I had, as another buyer described, is the screw for the 2nd position which is too long and won't fit because of the cover. I used smler screw I had with same thread. A note to the manufacturer to revise that screw design. Besides that, great monitor for work.
