Keeps my humidifier working well.

These are good to use, however, I still get residue on my vaporizer even when I use purified water. I’m sure it does take some of the mineral deposit out, but I still get quite a bit of white coated you know deposits on the top where the water comes out. It’s supposed to reduce that, but it looks like I’m in the north Pole! It’s hard to get that off even with vinegar!

I have been using these for several years now. This is just another package of replacements for my HoMedics humidifier. I have well water and it is high in calcium so these demineralization filters work perfectly for me so I don't have a house full of fine white powder on the furniture and floor. I change them every 46-60 days or so and of course and the beginning of every heating season so I start out with fresh ones in the water tanks. I have never had any problems with them. They work as advertised. I change them more than is required I believe but that saves me from having to clean white powder off the furniture.

I don’t think they did much. Still had a lot of white deposits on area around the humidifier.

We have a one gallon Homedics humidifier that I use 6 of these at a time to make a decent difference. Even using 6 of these pods at the same time, only removes maybe 80% of the white powder dust from surfaces.

la durée n'est pas très longue alors on doit les changer très souvent ce qui fait que ca revient plus cher a la longue. Les cylindres de plastique pourrait être réutilisable. Si le sachet a l'intérieur pourrait être vendus séparément cela contribueraient a l'environnement. Et les petits sachets a l'intérieur pourrait être un petit peu plus gros cela aiderais a durer plus longtemps En gros ca fonctionne bien quand même.

After using it for three months, I can say that the cartridge does nothing to reduce the white residue. I would not recommend this product at all.

I added one water softener pellet to the humidifier reservoir every two weeks over the winter. The humidifier worked well and there was no odour from ‘stale water’ or calcium build-up. What I didn’t realize until the end of the season is that all sorts of muck was building up in the water reservoir. It was easy to clean, but next heating season I’m going to clean the humidifier on a regular basis, along with using these water softener pellets.

Simple and they do the job very well. My humidifier still does give off the white film but its not as bad and it does not have to be cleaned as offten. Well worth the $$
