This soap is light years beyond any skin routine I have ever used. Please give it a try. I pray they never stop making it. One bar last so long. You are given a generous amount. You must follow the instructions because it is VERY effective. I'm careful to not over scrub and I rinse well. I heard a lot of great things about this product and if you are a product jumper like me then you're always looking for that one solution that will help your skin with one swing of a wand. I did not have acne as a teenager but when I started college it really got bad and I have spent a lot of time trying new products and medication; however one thing I have learned is consistency which is hard for an impatient person like myself. You may not see results right away but if you are persistent and stick to only a few products you're good. I love this African black soap. I have sensitive skin so at first it stung a lot and made my cheeks red and dry but I was persistent. If it stings I suggest a little fan or ice to cool off. I have seen a major improvement in the short time that I've been using this soap and can't wait to see the long term results. Do not put the soap directly on your face or body, use a rag or lather it in your hands.( great for body too) If you think it's making you break out more it's just bringing up those hidden pimples, you know the ones that you can feel underneath your skin but can't really see. I decided to be aggressive and use this product everyday at first but once my acne goes down I'll switch to 2 to 3 times a week because it is very drying but it makes the skin soft and tight. I also recommend a good toner like thaylers witch hazel and moisturizer like Olay or whatever you like to use and before you go to bed I promise you coconut oil will save your life. Throw it on everything. Lol You may sleep shiny but when you wake up it really helps a lot with the drying and it anti fungal so it helps with pimples too. I highly recommend the African soap though, just figure out what type of routine works best for you and stick to it and don't product jump too much.
