I looked at a lot of different options before settling on this particular storage box. I was looking for archival storage for the newspaper I have from the day I was born. Seeing as up until this point, it had just been stored in a regular cardboard box, subject to extreme heat, cold and occasionally humidity, I wanted something that would keep it from getting any more yellowed and fragile than it already was. But I needed to make sure the newspaper would fit flat in the box, to avoid any more damage than had already occurred. This turned out to be the perfect box! If I had a reason for buying more of these storage boxes, I would! They are of a very high quality - sturdy, rigid, and a snug lid. I love the different color options they come in - I chose the green, which looks lovely in my closet. A nice feature for multiple purchases is the built in tag on the front of the box, so that you can label each as to what is inside. (Note: the newspaper I have was printed in the late 1970's, which means the format is much larger than those of newspapers today. My newspaper does fit, very snugly - so it should easily fit the newspaper formats of today. If that's the specific use you're looking for in a box, of course.) It's been barely a year since I've started using this box, so if Amazon.com is still around in 15 years or so, I'll report back as to the "archival" part of my review. :-)

Perfect, just what I needed. I've got the most beautiful color coordinated craft shelves in my room. Mixed it with black I already had. Unable to find RED anywhere where I live. Happy!

I bought this to store my original colored pencil art in. I was looking for something archival that could hold 8x10s and it's actually bigger than that so I can make figures and stick it in there to much to say about it, It's a box and it holds things.

Ich habe drei der Boxen gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden. Scrapbooking Papier im Format 30,5x30,5cm passt perfekt hinein und es ist noch Platz, dass man hineingreifen kann. Ich nutze die drei Boxen zur Aufbewahrung meiner Bastelpapiere in verschiedenen Formaten. Die Boxen sind nicht so hoch, was ich sehr praktisch finde, weil ich so bessere Übersicht über den Inhalt habe. Die drei Boxen passen perfekt in ein Fach im Würfelregal des Möbelschweden - optimal für meine Zwecke. In braun habe ich drei Stück für ca.18€ gekauft, das ist ein toller Preis. Aktuell sind die anderen Farben deutlich teurer, ich überlege trotzdem nochmal welche nachzukaufen. Auch unsere Spielesammlung (deren Schachtel arg gelitten hat) würde darin gut Platz finden und noch ein paar andere Kleinigkeiten. Zwei der drei Boxen waren einwandfrei verarbeitet, die dritte hat eine kleine Delle an der Seite. Für meine Zwecke und bei dem Preis stört das nicht - als Geschenk z.B. fände ich das schade. Die Farbe (dunkelbraun) ist wie abgebildet.
