A bit heavy
This wire is good quality nichrome. This gauge was a bit heavy for my needs (diy hot wire foam cutter) but I still keep it on hand for cutting up foam blocks.

Makes great foam cutter.
I used this to create a 'foam cutter' to cut some high density foam. Was able to tension it and heat it with no problems and with 100 feet, you can make a lot of foam cutters.
