However, if you are a parent looking to make the best decision for your child with regard to the benefits and costs of vaccination, this is not the only book you should read. You should read "Dissolving Illusions" by Susanne Humphries, "Moth in the Iron Lung" and some other books as well. This book covers all the major vaccines but it doesn't cover the Intravenous Polio Vaccine, only the Oral Polio one, which isn't even given any more. It covers the effects of thermisol, but not of the thermisol free vaccines. The author could have reduced some of the fonts and made this book much longer to cover far more ground. But it's a good starting off point for parents who want to do their own research and make as informed a decision as possible. I do like the how he spelled out every study and the methodology so that you could see where the conclusion was coming from and decide for yourself whether or not it was biased. This is rare in the world of science writing today where people bend studies and results to suit their agenda. I would recommend this book, but it shouldn't be the only book you read about vaccines. Review: FANTASTIC SUMMARY OF VACCINE STUDIES! A MUST READ!!! - This is the book thousands have been waiting for!!! I cannot overstate how important this book is! For those of us who have tried to keep abreast of vaccine research, but don't have the thousands of hours it would have taken to compile this review of HUNDREDS of studies, this is the book for you. (The title greatly understates the amount of studies reviewed because Miller often reviews study summaries which in and of themselves reviewed dozens of studies). And it is an easy read, with findings summarized in non-technical terms. My advice for those who are concerned about vaccine safety - buy this book and pass it around! Show doctors, pediatricians, nurses, non-medical friends and friends who are parents or grandparents. And no, I do not know the author and have no financial interest in the success of this book. But I have a great personal interest in this book because I have wanted to see vaccine studies summarized for over two decades, since my daughter became vaccine-injured. Just one suggestion; I wish the author would have reviewed the studies which purport to prove vaccine safety but are deeply flawed and explained why they are flawed. Perhaps that will be his next book!
