For the size I purchased, you cannot beat the price for four total! Our old shutters were black when we purchased the house, and I painted them white a few years later. They held up pretty good for almost 25 years after that, but it was definitely time for new ones. I did look in local home-improvement stores, but none of them had the exact size and what they did have was super expensive! Finally wizened up and looked here on Amazon and lo and behold! They had the exact size I needed! And the price was amazing. So happy when they arrived and found how beautiful and sturdy they were and installation was easy! The front of my house looks so much better and cleaner, and I love them! I would give 10 stars if I could, and I highly recommend them!

When we put in new windows we decided to do new shutters also. Made a world of difference with the look and less expensive than big box stores.

Easy to install, just need to drill holes in the preset spots for the fasteners, did you not come pre-drilled. Made from plastic and not real rigid/sturdy.

These are light and easy to handle. Mine came with vague instructions about measuring and drilling mounting holes. Then, I noticed that there were rings marking where the ho.e d were supposed to go. But the rings were on the back side. I drilled the holes. No problem, except I dropped one and it got an ugly scrape. The plastic is pretty soft. Next, I mark ed where to drill holes in the brick wall that I was mounting the shutters on. I had gone out and bought a new drill and a masonry bit. But, what happened was the drill was taking a very very long time to make a hole. Luckily, a neighbor is a contractor. He clued me in that I neede a "hammer drill" to go with the masonry bit. I had bought just a regular drill. What I bought would have taken around 2 hours to drill the holes. My neighbor whipped out his hammer drill and had them done in about 5 minutes. So, these are OK shutters, but If you are mounting to brick, figure in the cost of buying or renting a hammer drill if you don't already have access to one or what shou.d be a 15 minute project will probably take all day.

Came on schedule with installation parts and instructions. Look great and would recommend this product.

We were originally going to do 3 windows on one part if the house, liked the results so much that we bought shutters for the remaining windows that had enough space on either side. Installation was not complicated, just make sure you have the right tools. Even though they're vinyl, they look like wood. We're very happy with how they look. Fit was easy, we just measured the vertical length of the window opening. Quality and durability of the material look promising, it's too early to know for sure as we just put them up over the past week. We have Texas summer coming up and then the occasional winter freeze. There's a question of versatility, not sure how to answer that. We didn't do any alterations and it was pretty standard mounting in siding and brick. One hint, if you're mounting in brick, don't predrill the holes, it's easier to drill into the mortar than the brick. Place your shutter holes so they'll align with the mortar.

Great product. It’s hard to get these in stores to match with sizes. One thing, I had to use my own lag bolts because the plastic ones would bend regardless of correct hole diameter with my brick. Also, your own screws will most likely hold the shutter on tighter. Other than that it’s all you need and good product. Oh and I just paint matched the screws…

My house came with old metal black shutters that had dense and were severely faded from the sun. These were an excellent replacement and easy to install.
