Flash Furniture LeatherSoft Swivel Recliner with Ottoman, Beige/Mahogany

Ordered Wed night had it by Fri morning, correct product delivered too. All pieces accounted for and intact. Easy to put together but preferred using socket wrench for bolts when possible (10, 12, 13mm) it's just less annoying and you can get things good and secure (comes with the usual Allen wrench and funky sheet metal wrench tools though). It is handy to have a second person available for certain steps but not absolutely necessary. The arm attachments, oddly enough, were the trickiest to align and get the bolts to thread, everything else was straightforward and went to plan. Instructions are minimal (6 diagrams, pictured). The only uncertainty I encountered was deciphering between the sets of bolts that are the same length. Add some common sense and it all works out though. The lighter weight narrower gauge bolts hold the arms, the heavier weight thicker gauge bolts go to the ottoman. Appearance is as portrayed. Definitely not leather at this price point, shouldn't be expected anyway. Generally a light beige-ish color, not quite cream but close. Roughly 50 pounds, slides easily along the carpet when I want to move it. Decent size for a small space. It is comfortable. Husband is 6'1" 170, I am 5'4" 135 and we're both generally comfortable sitting in the chair. It is, as indicated elsewhere, a bit low to the ground for him whereas I am enjoying being able to have my feet touch the ground for once (this would not be a great chair for anyone who struggles to get up unassisted between being so low down and lightweight). Swivel works just fine, 360 degrees. Reclines as intended. Does not fully recline, it's more of a sitting upright or inclined back to about 45 degrees (otherwise it'd tip). I am more comfortable sitting with it inclined. My shoulders are exactly below the line of the head cushion so when sitting completely upright it tends to make my head want to tilt forward causing neck strain. Leaning back however the back is perfect and even has some lumbar support going on. The cushion holds my head at the right inclination to read or work on the computer pretty comfortably. The ottoman is a bit tippy to the left and right, don't rely on it to do more than hold your feet while you relax.

First things first. I like the chair. Buy it. Now, down to the details. It is freaking impossible to put together by yourself. Attaching the backrest to the seat pad takes a Herculean effort. I had two friends push and hold and wedge and everything else to finally get the pieces together. Once that was done, the set up was super easy. Most of the pieces are already attached. The chair is very comfortable however there is absolutely no lumbar support. A decorative pillow works fine. Also, there is a little looseness when you sit on the chair. It does slide a little bit forwarded and back. Nothing really to complain about. Just something I figured I’d tell you about. Overall, I definitely recommend it and might even buy another one. Just realize that you cannot, absolutely cannot, put this thing together by yourself

Chair arrived today and was very easy to assemble. Just take the time to sort your screws out and figure out which each # it corresponds with. The color is fantastic and OMG IS IT COMFORTABLE!!!!!! It's a little stiff right now and I'm sure it will break in just fine. I have it in my basement for watching tv and gaming but I have a feeling I'm going to be missing out on a lot of the sporting events I'm watching because I'll be falling asleep. It's just that comfortable! I read some reviews about the chair tipping and I can see how that might happen but to me at least it's not really an issue. My only complaint was the wood supports on the foot stool came "scarred" with some stain missing and a few scratches but the overall product make up for the imperfections and it's not worth sending the whole chair back for. I'd definitely recommend this chair for people who enjoy comfort and napping a lot. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch some baseball and see if I can stay awake til the third inning!

Have had this chair and ottoman about 3 weeks & love it! It's very comfortable, love the color & style & find it hard to stay awake when I'm in it! I'm trying to talk my husband into getting one too. He has a hideous blue velour LazyBoy recliner sitting in the living room that is beyond ugly, so I'll keep working on him! Believe it or not, this entire chair & ottoman was extremely well packed into one box. Had a friend put it together in about 20-30 minutes. He was impressed with it too & will probably be getting one himself! This is an update on my previous 5* review. I have a auto-immune bone disease & purchased this chair as I need to lie down several times a day & thought this chair would be perfect to use for that purpose, & it was! Until last week when I realized it would no longer recline. I am a broken hearted 81 yr old lady extremely disappointed in my purchase. I have purchased other items of furniture from Amazon with no problems, as I am unable to stand long enough to go out shopping, & their prices are good. In fact I purchase almost everything I need from them as it just makes my life so much simpler. But I won't buy furniture from them anymore. The chair is very attractive but what I need is to be able to recline for my rest & to watch TV. Looks like I will be bedridden sooner than I thought. I really regret that I had to change my review.

This chair is not worth it. I've completely rewritten my review based upon 10 weeks of modest use. Originally written on June 3 follows in abbreviated and relevant manner. Comfort: I've had the chair for 10 days as of this writing. I work at home and sometimes put in long hours, and my office is also where I spend a good bit of my recreation time. This chair is very comfortable...for a couple of hours, after which it starts to put a lot of pressure on your tailbone, shifting the tilt of the chair or its back does little to alleviate the pressure and you have to get up and give your butt a rest. Its basically not a chair you can spend long hours sitting in, which may be a good thing as it will urge you to get up and move around for a bit. However for my needs that is more of an annoyance than a plus and its not a chair I would recommend watching more than a single movie in for that reason, let alone working on the computer for any real period of time. The price is fair for what you get, but if you're looking for something you can sit in for longer periods of time than 2 hours at a stretch, I'd recommend something else. Update Aug 17 This chair has seen on average a 3-5 hour use on a daily basis, anywhere from 2-3 hours at a stretch. For the purpose of full disclosure, I am 6' and weigh 252lbs, I do not "fall into" my chairs and this one rested on a solid tile surface with zero rocking and making very little use of its reclining feature. As I said above, though I work from home, this chair is only comfortable for relatively brief periods of time, I frequently had to resort to making use of my laptop from my couch as I found the chair taxing for longer periods of time. Today while in the process of looking for a replacement, I noticed a couple of wooden chips at the base of the chair's swivel ring. Investigation revealed that the alan bolts had become loose and tightening them produces sounds telling me that the wood in which these are driven into is of low quality and cracking around the bolts. In contrast, I had used a Mac Motion chair for 5 YEARS, daily, for up to 10 hrs at a stretch during my busiest period before the chair started to lose its foundation strength. The Mac-Motion chair at the time was 2x the cost of this one, and I repeat, saw significantly heavier use and lasted 5 years! I contacted a carpenter friend of mine to have a look at the chair and asked him his opinion of the worth of repairing it. His reply is a direct quote "Cheap Chinese crap like this isn't worth the price of materials to repair it, its structurally unsound and will continue to fall apart someplace else. Ditch it and buy something that's made with some honest pride." I tend to agree, all this cheap, Chinese product line is a blight for US consumers and should be avoided. I've downgraded my initial rating from 3 to one star based upon relatively light use for 10 weeks. It was never particularly comfortable, and is of very low quality. Spend your money elsewhere.

I recently fractured 5 ribs and bruised my liver. After returning home from the hospital I have been unable to sleep as it has been impossible to lie down flat. This chair arrived today and my husband assembled it in less than an hour. It offers perfect fit and comfort! I'm looking forward to sleep for the first time in days. The stitching is a little less than perfect in places and there are a couple of very minor scratches on the base of the chair and base of the ottoman - not visible to others. I wouldn't put an item of this quality in my main living areas. However, it is perfect for my master bedroom or office. Does not give the impression of sturdiness for a high-traffic area. But I couldn't be more thrilled. BTW - I'm 5'2" 135#. My husband is 5'1" and 150#. It's just as comfortable for him.

I bought this chair about 3 weeks ago and I am very please with it. I agree with others about the instructions being somewhat lacking. I guess they want to save printing cost but I don't know why this company as well as others don't have downloadable PDFs with clearer instructions. But back to the chair, I did get the Palimino (?) color and I am very pleased with the way it looks and as far as I'm concerned it made very well. It is bonded leather and there isn't anything wrong with that. To expect real leather at this price is unrealistic. The arms are a bit low and I'm considering drilling new holes to raise them about an inch. I think that will be a more comfortable height but I'll probably wait until the warranty is up. My only real concern is the swivel. I'm 6 ft and about 225 so I am worried this may fracture. I may modify this with casters if it does (since it is low casters could raise it and inch or so). Also the grating sound it makes is bothersome. Could be my weight causing this. On a more positive note I like the feel of the chair in the upright position when I'm working and in the recline position it's excellent for watching TV, somewhere in between for reading and I have cat napped in it too. I think the ottoman is just right for me, others may disagree, but my legs don't get cramped like a regular recliner and I just gave mine away to a thrift store. Overall I do believe this is an exceptionally good buy with some minor problems but I would recommend it.

Inexpensive and Functional... 1.) Product arrived On Time. 2.) There was no shipping or handling damage. 3.) Tools for assembly were included. 4.) Directions included pictures and were easy to follow. 5.) Alone, I was able to fully assemble in about 15 Minutes. 6.) Everything worked as it should. For work related reasons, we temporally rent a house. Bought this to put in a large Master bedroom for occasional TV watching. I am 6' tall and 250 lbs. While the chair is stable and comfortable, I would not personally choose it for everyday use as my Primary Chair. FOR ME - It is a little snug and with a little humidity, bare skin will probably stick to the material. That being said, I was comfy enough to make it through a 2 hour movie and dozed off while watching the news. We got exactly what we paid for and expected. For our purposes, I'd buy it again.

Insgesamt der Bequemste+leiseste Sessel den ich jeh hatte (bestimmt der 3.Versuch),alle 3 Jahre verschlissen ,meist ,,Lederschaden" .

I've had my chair about a month now. First off, I was able to assemble it myself. I have never assembled anything myself so that was huge! It is comfortable. Great value for the money. I was unable to find anything local for less than 3x the price. I wasn't looking forward to buying a chair on line. I'm picky. Arm height. Seat height. Comfort. Given what I paid I'm elated with my purchase. The only issue I had so far was my own fault. I had a dark coloured blanket over the back, and I think the heat from my back and the rubbing on the seams caused some colour transfer. Live and learn.

Fácil de armar, solo un par de tornillos y listo. Funciona bien. Cómodo, la cubierta es suave talvez un poco delgada ojalá dura como dice la publicación. Para mi el ancho es adecuado siendo hombre de 100 klgs. Sin embargo talvez una mujer muy caderona no entre bien.

I have a chronic back pain condition and having a chair that supports my back is essential. For me, this is the best chair I've ever bought, very comfortable and I have far less pain after using it. I am absolutely delighted with it. As far as assembling it is concerned, I did need someone to do that for me. He found it reasonable . It is worth every penny. Marian, Swansea.

Une fois monté, le fauteuil est parfait ! 2 inquiétudes : Le cercle plastique permettant les rotations du fauteuil semble plus fragile que le reste du meubles et le rembourrage d'assise qui semble trop mou ou insuffisant. Une remarque : La marque gagnerait à s'attacher les services d'un vrai dessinateur industriel pour les schémas de montage. Ceux fournis relèvent de l'amateurisme ou d'un désintéret total du client...
