Mens Belt Leather Ratchet Belt - Customizable Fit, Effortless Style (35mm)

I originally bought this belt because I was searching for a replacement for a similar style ratcheting belt I got on Kickstarter years ago. I couldn't find an exact copy but this one seemed like it was well enough liked and looked like good quality. I really have no issues with the belt at all except it's too long and that one's on me, and it can so be remedied easily too. The leather the belts made from seems like good quality and has lasted extremely well for a while now without really showing much is any wear and tear. This is also coming from somebody on the bigger side so the belt really needed to hold up. I don't rewmmw we how long I've had it now but I still use it at the time of this review and I really see no wear on it. The color of the leather works well with everything and the buckle is rally nice. It has a hefty good feel to it like it's good quality and the finish on the metal is really nice, it's smooth and sort of satiny feeling, idk but in all it comes together to look and operate like something high quality. The rachet mechanism on this is different than my previous belt but this one is so much smoother and I love it. My old one I had to seem to mess with it more to get it to click and lock right. This belt, when you get used to how it works is such a nice design that you can flip in a second or two with one hand if you need to change it quickly. The way the mechanism is made has the small lever on the top of the buckle so you hold and hit it with your thumb and it unlocks and easily adjusts. For this reason I don't exactly know about the reversibiloty of it because if it went the other way the lever would be on the bottom on the buckle and I haven't really tried operated it be cause it feels like it's upside down after using it like this. Overall I get too excited about things that just work and work well for what they're intended for and this is one of those things. Its just nice and satisfying and it just works and you dot have to fuss with something too much. The last thing I just realized I like a whole back was when I looked at the back of the belt, on the leather is stamped on the different waist sizes, so when the belt is too long, you can unhook the buckle with it's little teeth that bite into the leather to hold onto it with a little lever on the back side. Then you just cut the leather at whatever number pants size line you want your belt to be, slip the new cut end of the belt back into the beckle and latch the teeth and now your belt is whatever size you wanted it. Obviously you can't make it bigger so I just ordered big but I didn't expect it to be so easy to shorten either which was great. Overall I would buy another one if this one ever wore out or it's so convenient yiu could just get your own new strip of leather and dye and stitch that however you see fit and hook it to the buckle and new belt. I may actually just made different color strips and styles just so I can move the buckle around to different leather. Or I may honestly just buy another color to have options with less work too.

I purchased 3 of these belts to replace two which had worn out. The main belt was fine, but the belt was worn where the buckle adjustment normally was. Additionally, I lost a little weight and was already using the smallest size. This belt is adjustable for up to 6 inches or so, and no buckle holes. Just slide it to the desired position and it locks in place. Excellent design and very affordable.

I bought this belt to replace an aging, braided black belt. I would like to say I love it, but I don't. I use it; it works. It is more adjustable that the old one, nicer, newer. The leather is good and the ratchet works well. I'm used to my good old belt and this one is wider and stiffer. When my old one finally is done, I'll switch and use it more.

I picked up this ratchet belt after stubbornly avoiding doing so for years. I have seen the ads, and, didn't think there was anything special about it. I was wrong. This is an excellent quality belt that looks sharp. It's versatility allows me to use this at work, on the weekend, and everything in between. And for the price, you really cant go wrong. The ratchet is heavy and well made, the leather seems genuine, and, its overall just a great value. So with that said, there are two things I need you to know about this belt. One.... I regret waiting so long to get this style of belt. No more punching holes and having to sacrifice comfort. This is the perfect belt! Two, and I can not emphasize this enough.... if you are new to ratchet style belts, practice taking it off BEFORE you wear it in the real world and you find yourself in an urgent situation where time is of the essence. The last place you want to be is in a bathroom stall with nary a moment to spare, and you are fumbling around like a toddler trying to knit a sweater with numb fingers because you neglected to learn your new belt inside and out before wearing it into public. In such tense moments, your muscle memory takes over, and you will find yourself in a sweaty panic trying to undo it the old fashion way. No matter how hard you pull and tug, that ratchet is NOT letting go. You MUST use the otherwise obvious release lever. So in closing, definitely get this belt because it is a game changer. But make sure you understand how it functions before deploying for everyday life.

This belt gets it done! Looks great, locking mechanism works smoothly, and it's not difficult to make it smaller. Better than other ratchet belts costing 2x or 3x more. Highly recommended, and I'm ordering a second one. Get yours while you can.

The notches are really close together compared to any ordinary beltholes on belts I could find in local stores. Perfect for my skinny waist, but probably more comfortable for anyone to get a more accurate belt. Easy to just hold the buckle and pull on the tongue to tighten it if it's a little loose, discrete compared to undoing and redoing a normal belt. Overall much more convenient design. I've been wearing it for about a year now and it's held up great, no visible wear or problems.
