Dentek Professional-Fit, Maximum Protection Dental Guard For Teeth Grinding, 1 Count

I can see the vision in this product, but unfortunately the execution is just not there. I followed the instruction, but unfortunately it just didn't feel right the first time. So as the leaflet asked, I followed the instructions again trying to correct the issues. It did not work again. I tried two more nights, then as a last ditch effort I resorted to a) molding it without the tray and b) cutting off some parts with scissors to make it fit better, but alas it still did not work well for me. The problem was that having it in made me want to open my mouth, and made me feel like my mouth was like a gorilla's, because the distance between front teeth was so large, as well as the plastic protruding forward and pushing my lips forward so the philtrum above my lips was extended unnaturally. Basically, while it fit my teeth, the positioning in my mouth was extremely uncomfortable. In the end, I discovered that this product is also not returnable easily, I had to discuss with customer support first to refund it, despite the guarantee that is written on the product itself.

I’ve been struggling with teeth grinding for years to have reached to the level where I would wake up and have to remove broken teeth parts from my mouth. I couldn’t eat for one hour after waking up because of the grinding all night. Today this product has arrived then I slept after I got it. It was a sleep to remember. Highly recommend if you have teeth grinding problems.

Waste of money and completely useless. I followed all the instructions carefully, but when I put it in my mouth, it didn’t mold properly to the shape of my teeth. The silicone was still too hard and uncomfortable.

This product is absolutely terrible. It does not work. The mould is useless, the quality is appalling. A complete and utter waste of money.

It’s very small does not fit to adult and it’s damaged or expired Trying to request replace but app not allowing

After molding, it is too thick so you can clause your mouth properly and it doesn't stay in place properly.

Defective product

Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Ich habe bereits zum vierten Mal diese Knirscherschiene gekauft. Richtig, gem. Anleitung angepasst, passt die DenTek Professionell-Fit perfekt und hält zwischen 6 bis 9 Monate durch. Im Vergleich gegen die für über 400€ vom Zahnarzt erarbeitete feste Premium-Knirscherschiene ist die DenTek Professionell-Fit wesentlich komfortabler und sicherer zu tragen. Das weiche Material hinterlässt keinerlei Druckstellen. Und bei einer neuen Krone braucht man nicht gleich eine neue Schiene. Zwei DenTek Professionell-Fit Schienen habe ich nach ein paar Wochen Tragezeit problemlos nochmal, gem. Anleitung, aufbereiten und nachbessern können. Zwei Kritikpunkte habe ich dennoch: 1. Die neuen Aufbewahrungsboxen haben jetzt auch an der Unterseite Löcher, das ist unpraktisch wenn die Schiene in der Reinigungslösung liegt. Da waren die alte baugleichen Aufbewahrungsboxen wesentlich besser. 2. Der Preis könnte etwas günstiger sein...

My dentist warned me over and over again that I must be grinding my teeth in my sleep because he could see my teeth were wearing down. I didn't take him seriously for a few months until suddenly my teeth became sensitive to drinking cold water and I thought I'd lost a filling or something. Nope. Just teeth grinding. My dentist had said he could make me a professional mouth guard but I wasn't comfortable spending $400! Then last time I was in the dentist chair my dentist told me this is the one he'd recommend until I get dental insurance again. To be honest this was easy to mould to my upper teeth and only required boiling water and a timer to make sure I did it all correctly. Now I wear this every night and the sensitivity in my teeth is gone! I will however admit that it takes a little effort to brush it with toothpaste every day but there is a nice case to hold the mouth guard in. Sometimes however I do lose the mouth guard and when I get up in the morning it is someplace in my bed. I eventually find it. Whew! So it can fall out of your mouth every now and then, but usually is not a problem and stays in pretty good. Now and then halfway through the night I wake up and want to take it out of my mouth for some reason. It is possible to sip water while wearing it however. I will say it is ten bucks cheaper here since I also got one elsewhere and regretted that decision! My dentist actually encouraged me to "get it today" and so I did. But now I have two and am pretty happy with this mouth guard. I am not a dentist and this review is not dental or medical advice. But I will say I no longer have the tooth sensitivity. ~The Rebecca Review P.S. My advice is to get TWO of these because one is easy to lose. I've lost one now and am still looking and did not have one ready for last night. I need to prepare a second one for tonight if I can't find the one I just lost. Arggg P.S. 2 - My cat Fuzz helped me find the mouth guard. It was under my bed! P.S. 3 - I started disinfecting this mouth guard with Polident tablets for 5 minutes and rinsing it really well. I wear disposable gloves to deal with the cleaner! No one told me I'd need to disinfect this but now I am!

Article acheté fin décembre, il est déjà inutilisable à peine 3 mois plus tard car il s’est déchiré… c’est dangereux parce que des morceaux de plastiques peuvent être avalés. En effet, la partie haute est plus fragile que la partie basse et elles peuvent se désolidariser.

ive tried 3 different guards from amazon, this one was the best packaged, best instructions, very good quality guard, build to last, quite thick which may be an issue to some, when closing your mouth it leaves a bigger gap than other guards. compared to others it is more comfortable, however it is not the snuggest most secure fit compared to other options, almost feels loose to where i was concerned it would fall out of my mouth during sleep, but was happily suprised that i woke up with it still in and secure. so perhaps my initial thoughts are wrong. also remolding is always an option to try to make it more secure. overall great guard. one of the best on amazon.
