This is a great pump for getting water out of places you don’t want it. It “just works”. Super quiet! I found it to have a stable output at various heights. I used a standard garden hose (limited throughput) and easily got 150 gal/hr with a 6’ head. There are adapters for bigger hoses - I just didn’t have one handy when I was testing. My friend has a pool that needs emptying so he can replace the liner, so that will be the next project. The power cord is of sufficient length to let the pump submerge where you need it to go. Overall, I’m more than satisfied. UPDATE: I was able to get my hands on a direct fit elbow to adapt to 1-1/2” PVC. This pump cranks out well over a gallon a SECOND with that size pipe and easily hits the rated flow, even with an 8’ head (longest section of pipe I had handy - would certainly push higher).

It hasn’t rained enough in the past couple of days since I received the pump, but I am looking forward to seeing if it will help alleviate my drainage problem in the backyard. I drilled holes in a 5 gallon bucket, wrapped it with landscaping material, stuck it in the hole that I dug, and surrounded it with rocks. If all goes well, the water that floods my backyard when it rains will find its way to the bucket and the pump will empty it through the hose I have extended out to the road . Now if only it would rain so I can see if it works. 😁.

I bought this for my husband, who does underground utilities in the Florida panhandle. A lot of the holes they are digging are below the water table and we thought this would be handy to have on the back of the work truck. He couldn't wait to get to work and decided to test it in the garden tub of our master bathroom. Let me tell you, this is not a good idea. Extremely funny but not recommended. In a matter of seconds he managed to drench our entire bathroom including our toddler that was caught in the crossfire. He then tested it in a kids pool with the hose filling it at the same time. This thing can move some water, and very quickly I might add. it drained the pool much faster than it could fill. He has since been able to use it at work and it's working great in muddy water and moves enough water to allow them to see what they are doing while working. He created an housing with slits out of a 5 gallon bucket to keep big debris out. Would recommend to anyone.

Great little machine and much more powerful than expected! My last one took forever but this is able to pump water out super fast so it doesn't run nearly as much as the last one. Very simple to set up especially if your replacing a unit like I was. The float works flawlessly exactly as advertised and at a good price!

I Needed a back up pump for filling our water system and this fits the bill. Easy to use works great not very loud, the only drawback is the float switch which needs to be manipulated because we use this to pump water out of our stream. Also the intake doesn’t have a screen so I had to makes one for it. These are minor issues and If you’re getting this for your basement or for a water tank it will work perfect. Very happy with this product for the price.

This pump is terrible for large pools. It does pump the amount of water advertised.

Works well to drain a pool. Not getting the flow as promised but i am using a garden hose attachment.

Solo agregaría un interruptor para deshabilitar el sensor de apagado automático. Por lo demás, esta bomba me está funcionando excelente. Ya la utilicé para sacar mucha agua sucia de mi cisterna y funciona perfectamente. El problema es que, al agitar el agua para limpiarla, el sensor provocaba que la bomba se apagara continuamente, lo cual me resultó un poco molesto.
