If you go to any of the top gym equipment shops, all you’ll get for the price you’re paying here, is a set of measly dumbbells. This set is versatile, has insane value for money and will last you for years, coz of the sturdy construction. This is geared more towards beginners to early intermediates though. So, if you’re into advanced lifting and can do more than 50, then you should either get more weights to add to this or a heavier set. It’s easy to assemble the dumbbells and barbells and you can lock in the plates once you have added the weights you need. The included locks will get loose from time to time since it’s only a spiral system to lock the plates in with no additional method to keep the locks from moving. While it isn’t hazardous, do keep that in mind, since it may get annoying for some to constantly keep turning the locks back in. I’ve deducted a point for the box that houses these weights. It’s made of plastic and I’m not sure how long it will last, considering that it holds 50 kgs in weights plus the rods (that’s a good 60 kg at least). Sometimes when you lock in the rods into the box, it’s very difficult to take it out, coz the grooves don’t have any space for your hands to pull it out. I prefer to leave the rods out for that reason, while packing in the weights. Get these if you’re building a home gym and want to do it on a budget, or if you’re new to weights and don’t want to spend a lot of money on the bells and whistles..

Overall, it is a useable set of weights. The main issues are: - There is a clear, bad smell of the metal, whenever you open the case it is extremely noticeable. - One of the screws got stuck and it is literally impossible to remove. On the otherhand, for the cost I don't think there is a better option. The bars seem sturdy, the weight options are high and there has been no rust or anything of that nature. I have owned this set for around 2 years now and I still use it to this day. I got it because of COVID when the gyms closed, and since gyms have reopened I have gone back to that but for someone who wants a low cost of entry at home gym, this is a must have.

Exactly as advertised. Nothing more nothing less. Pros: 1. Good for home workouts 2. Great price point for such a product 3. Easy to store box with wheels and compartments for each item Cons: 1. Grips on the dumbells bars are not smooth. You will require training gloves 2. The barbell connector is not 100% tight each time you use it. Remember to tighten it before each use.

I have seen other reviews talking about the bad smell but I personally didn't experience any smell at all, however there is some rust and screws are a bit loose, apart from that everything is perfectly fine, and it's quality is really good considering I bought this around 300aed.
