how is the SLOW start compare to kitchenaid?

Slow...speed #1...is about as slow as my old mixer's high. It's a nice mixer but you need to use a deep bowl and be careful when mixing in dry ingredients. Low made me lose half my flour in a cloud. For slow mixing I may have to resurrect my old mixer. Once ingredients are well mixed it's nice and strong.

Can it knead the dough?

Yes, I have used it for quick breads and pizza dough.

Is the plug works for US outlet?

The only problem is when you plug it it can't stop
