We were looking for strong straps for this project and we came across these cord/hose hangers and hoped they would be sturdy enough for our purpose. We are so happy with these hangers! My husband is a retired Firefighter, and he received a fire ax at his retirement party. We hung the ax under the mantle of our fireplace and his two helmets on either side. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The fire ax is very heavy, and these straps are very sturdy and just the right size to handy the load. They were easy to attach as the only tool we needed was a drill to make pilot holes in the mantle for the hooks. The price was very reasonable --so happy with the results that I wanted to post a photo!

Pretty rare I buy something any more that is designed very well, quality and stout materials used, much stronger than it needs to be, and appears to be a great value for the price. These are it. Holds 50 feet of 12 ga generator cord with EASE, and the clasp that can go over a rope or cable OR hang on that hook or 16 D rusty nail, is easily up to the job. When the clasp closes back onto itself after hanging, that metal actually hooks to the top to provide even more weight bearing capacity. One package of 4 arrived, black, built like a 1964 Peterbuilt, and for a great price. Rare one finds a real VALUE on QUALITY items today, but this is one. Going to get an extra 4 before they raise the price! These are good for much more than just hanging up a power cord.
