So pleased with this new toothbrush. My teeth feel like they get a professional cleaning each time and I think it is good stimulation for my gums. Adjustable vibration but noisy. Battery life is good and it is top quality

This is a household favorite tooth brush. My wife had a different brand and had to use mine one time she forgot hers for an over night getaway and immediately asked me to buy her one as it outperformed her other toothbrush. Your teeth come out feeling fresh and clean with this powerful toothbrush which is still gentle enough not to hurt your gums. Good value for the money

This toothbrush is a replacement for an older model that is starting to lose it's ability to hold a charge. It was time to replace it and this model was on SALE! WOOHOO! It's slightly smaller handle is easier for me to hold with my small hands. The "stutter" at the end of each 30 second quadrant is more noticeable and the light is easier to see while holding up against your face. It uses the same brushes as most Oral-B toothbrushes so I just continued to use the same brush (it is still in acceptable condition). That is a critical need as I buy my brushes ahead when on sale so I never have to worry if I have one. It's got a textured surface that makes it easy to grip and not slip in your hands. One reviewer said it looked like it had hair on the surface. That's dust! It's just so textured that it gathers fine dust but doesn't affect it's use at all. It also clearly notes that you can place it under running water. Being black, it really shows the foam and such from brushing. It states clearly that you can leave it in the charger between uses ALL THE TIME where the older model still states that you should charge it down at least every 6 months. It's not supposed to have a memory so I don't understand why. There are two "negatives" -- both very minor. 1: Like almost all devices like this, the time it holds a charge is worded in a very vague way. It says 2 weeks and then goes on to say 2 weeks brushing twice a day for 2 minutes (normal time). That makes the charge time about 56 minutes - roughly an hour! What if you use it 3 times a day (as I do upon dentist recommendation)? That makes it about 9 days! That can be confusing. 2: Good luck at "registering it". The box comes with a little card for coupons if you "register". This does NOT affect the warranty. It's only for the coupons. However, you can't do it (unless they've fixed the problem in the past week). I tried! This model is not on the list! You have to select what model you are "registering" and it's not on the list. I called and they checked and were shocked to find the customer was actually right! I'm getting my coupons and just warning people of the minor issue.

This is my third Oral-B brush of this same type. I really do like and all it's features, enough that they are worth replacing. I rarely use more than one of the brush power settings, though they are nice to have on the occasions I need them. I also like the timer to pace myself for a proper brushing. I don't use the bluetooth with a phone app as I'm just not that much of a nerd, at least not for brushing. I do wish these lasted longer than four years (give or take), though in this day and age I suppose that a good span for an electronic device. The battery died on my first one (they only last so long) and I was unsuccessful in DIY replacing it. The second one, that I just replaced leaked water into brush housing and got all rusted and corroded inside and failed. So now have number three and still happy to have this brand and model. When the battery does eventually die I will try replacing again, assuming all else is ok, as replacement batteries ready to solder in seem readily available these days, even with DIY how-to videos on the internet.

I LOVE MY ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH! I got my first electric toothbrush about 7 years ago. It was an older version of this one. Unfortunately, I dropped it one too many times and it had a rattle along with the vibration. My husband bought me one of the Oral-B Ion electric toothbrushes to replace my old one and it was just not the same. It is more of a soft vibration if I had to try and describe it... I just did not like it at all. This one happened to go on sale and I snagged it. I have been extremely pleased with this purchase. So much so that I bought a second one to replace my husbands older model. The only thing I will warn you about with electric toothbrushes is, if you are using it on a high setting constantly you may see some gum recession from brushing too hard. All in all, I would buy this again!

My husband has Parkinson's Disease and the dentist recommended he use an electric toothbrush (and Water Pik-type flosser). We have only had the Oral B electric toothbrush about a week, but so far we love it. My husband and I do use the different speeds; the highest one (signified by the tooth icon) is quite strong, so I recommend starting at a lower speed (like the "feather") until you get used to it. I like that the toothbrush signals when it is time to move on; I feel like I am brushing much more consistently over each of my teeth than with a regular toothbrush. We haven't tried the bluetooth/app feature yet, but will update if/when we do. The directions are in tiny print. Had to take a photo of them and expand the photo to read. One helpful recommendation--don't turn on the toothbrush until it is in your mouth, or else the toothpaste will be flinging all over the place. :)

These are very good. We own this, more expensive version, the intermediate version and the cheapest (kids version) ORAL-B electric toothbrushes. If you can, I would recommend buying this more expensive version. The cheaper (made for children) ones have a NiMH battery that does not last very long. The difference between this more expensive version and the intermediately priced ORAL-B is that this one seems to rotate smoother and it does feel more gentle on you teeth, even if you do use the faster/stronger setting. Great product and would 100% buy again.
