One of the Last Great Snowboarding Games!
This game is an amazing snowboarding game, and a great sequel to one of Nintendo's many forgotten franchises! There are a variety of modes for single players such as The Competitions, where you face off in races at various difficulties with plenty of stages to play on. There is the basic Time attack, Trick attack, and Gate Challenge. Even in those other modes there are mini collectable to get in these stages that unlock different boards for your characters to use, so they give you a good reason to play other modes if you want to 100% the game. The Multiplayer is pretty standard. nothing to really write home about. Just a basic thing to add to games so more than one person to have fun. Not bad, not amazing, but not the meat and potatoes of this game. The music selection is pretty fun! Ranging from popular bands (of the time) like Finger 11 to Seether, and the Theme song being Killing Me by Cauterize, they definitely had a target audience with the music on that end, but some of the non copyrighted music are also pretty nice, atmospheric, and relaxing to listen to while just playing around. You can get lost just enjoying the game and the music enhances your experience.I think everyone can enjoy this game, from Casuals, to the hardcore gamers. even little kids can play this, as the game naturally pushes you forward to the finish line being all down hill. A must buy for gamecube owners and anyone trying to get that extreme sports vibe of early 2000s

Very Nostalgic
It works perfectly, everything is amazing. The quality could need improvement but thats just how it is being an old game and all. Got it as a gift along with a gamecube for my bf. He loves it!!

Disc Read Errors like crazy.
It's very hard to concentrate and get a feel of the game because the game keeps giving me disc read errors, anywhere from after quitting a race, beginning a race, or even before the title screen. Feel very ripped off even if I only spent a couple bucks. Bought another Gamecube game for about the same price and don't experience this issue. And the seller categorized it as "Good" condition. Not satisfied with the purchase whatsoever as my other used game purchases on Amazon have never had this issue.

Mediocracy at its Height
1080 for N64 was a phenomenal game with so much to offer. I purchased this game because I love snowboarding games, a love that began with the original. This game lacks the originality, seamless flow, and apparent intuition of the original. If you are looking for a solid snowboarding game with good controls and attainable objectives, stick with SSX Tricky or SSX 3 which are the best two snowboarding games I have played (the newest SSX, "On Tour" being a total letdown). I am glad I didn't buy this right when it came out when it cost $60; I bought it for $15 new, which was still paying too much.

Average ; Not as good as SSX
Not a great game, not a bad game. It's average as average can get. Not hard to see why Nintendo never made another 1080 game, since the SSX games were vastly superior in every single way. Each track is pretty short, ranging from 1 to 2 minutes, only 5 playable characters and tracks are pretty linear, with little offering in areas to perform tricks. You can probably still have fun with this game, and it even has LAN support for multiple cubes as well as progressive scan so that's a plus. It's just not that great a game. You basically beat each track before you can even finish one song on the sound track, which kinda sucks cause the sound track is really good.If the tracks were longer, had more trick opportunities then it would be better, but it's basically a quick arcade racer with snowboards.
