Good sturdy kit, weve got 2 large housecats and wanted something to securely fit in a full height sliding door. Went together easily, adjustable height and we had confidence it wasnt going to pop out, theres some tape and some adhesive backed felt strips in kit that you can add to make a tighter seal but we prefered to keep it collapsavle and removable as quickly as posible so used without and it worked well

I purchased a portable air-conditioner, but could not use the enclosed window outlet as I have patio doors. When telephoning into Delonghi as to what I could do, this item was suggested as the measurements appeared to be suitable. However, the sizing of the Gulgear item is millimetres different and I am unable to use it at the moment, until I can come up with an idea of what to do. As this item came from the States I decided not to return, but to try and adjust accordingly. The item itself is of quality and some thought has gone into fitting it to a patio door,.

Does not give a complete seal as doesn’t fit into every slot on my sliding door frame and the door although butts up to made up kit where unit fits together inside each other it’s not flush so there are gaps, yes you get draft excluder but then you can’t collapse it down when finished. Lots of bits n pieces included in kit

It did not fit with my sliding doors. The height was fine but the width varies and the depth was all wrong. It was also impossible to put the tube from my air conditioner into the vent so that it stayed there. Returned it and immediately got a full refund, hence the second star

I used this on a sliding glass patio door so it has to extend over 6 feet and remain in place. This is made of much heavier plastic than the smaller window panel that came with our portable AC. It easily goes together, remains firmly in place even when I open the door to let air flow when it is cooler outside. Because it is made of 3 sections that fit inside each other the width varies slightly between the inside and outside panels which can leave a slight air gap. An extra length of foam tape would solve this problem if you're worried about a bit of air leak in either direction. A good, solid product worth the extra money.

I don’t write a lot of reviews. But this product is a game changer. I installed a portable air-conditioning in my master bedroom because it got way too hot at night. This exhaust was a super clean and easy install. My bedroom is freezing now I am really happy with the quality and the amount of the length of a window It will work in.
