Real deal organic Hopi blue corn
Fantastic product. So far used for corn bread which came out rich and flavorful. Excited to try this in other recipes! Texture is medium/course- may grind further for use in tortillas. Can't wait!

You need to try this!
So very good it is now a pantry staple ! The taste and texture are perfect. Cornbread has never been better and scones are a special treat. Easy to bake with and the color makes a great impression on guests.

Best Cornmeal I've Ever Tasted
This and the Blue Hopi cornmeal is by far the best cornmeal any of us have tasted anywhere. It's great for frying and kind of gives a boost to the taste. We used to use Quaker, tried several organic cornmeals, and thought we had some good ones we liked. We tried this because I thought the different type would be interesting and the older strains are interesting, but I think we were all shocked at the taste difference in comparison. Going back to what we used to get now, especially the degerminated junk, would feel like a hardship or like it's missing something (it is!). If this review sounds a little bit too glowing, there's a reason for that. It's really good, and I'm picky....so to make me sit here and write this is saying something. But if it was as bad as it was good, I'd be ranting so it's not fair if I don't give them the kudo's they deserve. We ordered 1 lbs of Bloody Butcher Cornmeal and 5 Lbs of Blue Hopi. We liked it so much and went through it so fast that we doubled the last order. ...should give you an idea.

So tasty! and versatile
Only used it to make grits so far but it was delicious! Plan to use it for corn bread and blue tacos. Does say it's best to keep it in the freezer until ready to use. I would purchase it again but 5 lbs. will probably last awhile. I looked for blue cornmeal after I had blue tacos in Portsmouth, NH that were to die for. This was the only place I found it and I was glad to see it was Hopi cornmeal - no GMO. Sometimes old school is the best.

I simply disliked the taste. It's a good product in a nice container. Nice seller.

Delicious
I only use this cornmeal for breakfast cereal, but it is the best I have tried.

Pretty good
I used the cornbread recipe provided and it was complicated and not all that good. I later used the old tried and true albers cornbread recipe and it was very good.

Just one issue
It's good quality but the grind is far too coarse. A finer grind would make a world of difference.
