Awesome helmet
Great helmet for the price tag, I love the retro glitter paint and styling. Fit is really good. I love blue and this blue sparkly paint job is perfect it really sparkles in the Sun. I am very impressed with the quality and comfort of the lightweight. Highly recommended helmet.

Great value stylistic Simpson knockoff
Great helmet knock off Simpson light weight, a lot of ventilation, pick up the smoked or mirrored visor for an additional 25.00 it will make this lid stand out. Con: your chin is exposed.

Rad helmet, excellent fit.
This helmet is rad! Especially for the price. The finish is nice and it fits like a glove. My noggin measures 58, so I bought the Medium per the sizing chart & it's perfect. I own over 20 helmets (different brands & styles) and the sizing of this one is right on. I think I have a pretty neutral head shape so I don't feel any pressure points at all with this helmet. For what it's worth on the fitment/shape, the newer Bell brand helmets don't fit me well. I believe they have a more round head shape. With a Bell, It's tight front to back but gapped on the sides above the temples. This CRG does not have that issue for me. With the shield wide open it whistles a bit, but not a big deal. Probably something to do with the wind blowing across the inside forehead vents. The chin strap is plenty long and has a little retaining button on it so it's not flopping all over the place; a thoughtful feature. Also, the CRG does not lift when riding and when I turn my head, it doesn't feel like the wind is going to snap my neck. The one thing I really, really disliked was how impossible the shield is to lift off the pin lock. Fortunately, I came up with a super simple, FREE fix that takes about 30 seconds and completely eliminates the only negative thing about this helmet. (Do a quick search on You Tube for "crg visor fix". It should be right at the top.) I bought a tinted shield for it & that isn't the greatest. It's not optically correct (at all) and it's slightly hazy. But, I ride a rigid Harley and I haven't ever seen anything clearly while riding it because my eyeballs are bouncing in their sockets! lol! I don't know if the clear shield that the helmet comes with is less distorted because I haven't used it or removed the static film protector from it. All said, I'm very happy with this helmet and would love to have another one in another color.

Its "alright".
-Pros- -Light weight -Great style -Quality paint -Comfortable padding -perfect sizing -Cons- -Very hard to open lens(practically impossible with gloves) -steams up VERY easily -lining on chin area has alot of fibers sticking out and it tickles my chin and drives me nuts. -vision isn't perfect through lens -lots of noise inside helmet -does not cover chin very well -probably not going to protect you very well in the even of an accident -bulky (its light but just looks very large once on)+ Overall a decent helmet but little things that are very frustrating. Fogging lens and it being hard to open with gloves on just turns horrible everytime I'm at a stop light. And I did apply anti fog to it. I would recommend it to someone who needs a "sometimes" helmet like my situation. I couldn't imagine using this year round and dealing with these things.

Looks AWESOME! Well made.
I love this helmet! Looks great in person. Not cheaply made or lightweight. There are two reasons I gave it 4 starts instead of 5. 1) I used their measurement guidelines and it fits pretty tightly, but not on my head. It's really tight around my cheeks and face. I do believe, however, that it will loosen up as it breaks in a bit. 2) The ratcheting mechanism for the visor works well, but it appears like it's a bit weak. I am concerned about removing the faceshield so that I can swap between the clear one and the mirrored one I bought. Time will tell. All in all, I would buy it again!

Good helmet for the cost, but there’s a reason it’s so cheap
UPDATED: I’ve owned the helmet for a year now. After about 4-6 months of daily use, the little threaded rod that holds the visor position selector in place has come apart. The nut on the inside of the helmet is now rattling around inside with no way to retrieve it. The visor can be installed right enough for it to hold itself up in certain spots, but it will not lock into place. I’ve included a picture and taken away one star as this is still a nice and good looking helmet for the cost. Pretty good helmet at a low cost. You definitely get what you pay for. I splurged and got the orange/red visor, it looks awesome. Bottom line up front: it will do the job, but look to pay more for authenticity and protection. Pros: Affordable Simpson copy Changeable visors Can see at night with tinted visor All around protection Sleek and compact by comparison Helmet doesn’t touch mouth Chin strap has D rings and strap keeping snap Removable chin/neck pads in event of accident Included cinch bag Cons: No DOT label found beneath padding, highly doubt this is DOT approved No auto slide for visor switch between clear and tint Visors must be manually changed (easy, but slow) Tinted visors are over priced for quality Went through two distorted and one scratched “new” visors Still a little on the large side Padding could be firmer Removable chin/neck pads do not have an ‘emergency’ red for easy identification Chin strap needs different mounting position; chokes throat if too snug when tilting head down Road noise is very prevalent but not excessive as a half helmet Matte finish scratches easily Silver vents are fake, purely cosmetic

No Dice with the visor, but great customer service
Fit is spot on to the sizing chart. I measured for a large and it fits perfectly. Great looking helmet. Probably not the sturdiest helmet out there, but way better than my current non dot helmet. Doesn’t look overly large for its size either. Outside shell is proportional. Overall it’s a nice helmet for a decent price. ***Update*** So I need to change my review after wearing this for the past couple days. I had gotten stung by a bee near the corner of my eye the day before I got this helmet, so I thought that was affecting my vision, but it's the shield. I saw it on another review, and didn't realize it until wearing it around more. Optically the shield is not correct, and is really hard to see out of at night. As others described, it’s like trying to look through a glass of water. Love the look and feel of the helmet, but I obviously need to pony up a few more bucks and buy the competitors helmet. Looks come second to function. As a side note, the seller was great when I messaged them about my issue, and even sent me a second shield to try. Unfortunately, the outcome was the same. They said they would speak with the manufacturer about it. If and when they ever get that corrected, I would definitely try again, and applaud their stand up customer service.

Good helmet for Asian fit Round heads
I normally cannot find a helmet that fits my head. It's quite round at the top than oval. Even though my head measures 61-63cm, I went for a 4xl which was 67-68cm. Glad I did, because it's more of a perfect fit than anything else I have tried. There are no noticeable pressure points on the top of my head anymore. Pros - Great fit for round/Asian heads. Light weight but not completely cheap. Projection foam is nice and firm. Sturdy enough material. I dropped it on a tile floor and there were no dents or scratches. Decent amount of air flow as its not completely air tight. Comes with a bag. Cons - Lots of room in front of mount, and lack of chin sponge lets a lot more air seep in. Slight Wind Noise Double D rings are annoying to use with gloves. Would have prefered a clip on. Overall quite happy with the purchase. Well worth it.
