I would recommend for large-breed dogs!
These Tpotato dog nail clippers work great for larger dogs. They feel sturdy and well made, with comfortable handles that provide a good grip and control. The blades are sharp enough to make clean cuts without requiring too much pressure, which makes trimming much easier. They’re simple to use and have made at-home grooming more convenient. Overall, a solid, reliable pair of nail clippers that I would recommend for large-breed dogs!

Quality is above average.
Very nice nail clippers, exceeded my expectations. Easy to use and very sharp. I expect to be using these nail clippers for many years.

A work in progress but these seem to work
We have an Anatolian Shepherd/Hound mix who absolutely does not like his paws touched. At all. We have tried taking him to the vet or the groomers for his nail trimming. Nope. We thought we'd have better luck with grinders. Not a chance. We even tried calming treats. They. Did. Nothing. We have clippers at home. He side eyes them and won't allow us anywhere near him if he even thinks we have them on our person. I decided to invest in a pair that he didn't already recognize. Not sure why I thought that would make any difference. We have slowly tried to get him used to having his paws touched, sans clippers. We've actually been doing this for a while. And by a while, I mean around 3 years. Every now and then, he allows it for just a second. As far as getting any clips in with these new and unrecognized clippers, the most we've managed is a quick snip of a tip here and there. But hey! That's more than we've ever gotten in the past so I'm calling it a success. Although it was just the tip, these cut through easily. I'm hoping with more paw massaging, touching the clippers to his feet without snipping, treats for him allowing us in his general vicinity knowing we have them in our hand, that we will eventually have a dog that may, possibly, at some point in time, maybe in the future, allow another snip

Saving TONS by doing this at home
These cutters definitely pay for themselves fast, especially with how fast my girl’s nails grow! I may have a slightly easier time with them since I’ve worked with dogs on and off for a decade, but they’re very straightforward, as long as you aren’t nervous + have a basic understanding of how your pet’s anatomy works. Granted, if you’re capable of making your dog sit still long enough to use, these are a quick and easy way of trimming a dog’s nails. I will say it takes a little bit of effort to cut through each nail, but I think they’re definitely worth buying as a budget option. I’ll also give it some slack, with a dog’s nails being pretty solid, but they definitely cut quick and easy if you have better grip strength (and bigger hands) than I do. The safety guide is also very useful, and my only small gripe being that you have to make sure the previous nail hasn’t gotten wedged between the guide and the blades. Be prepared for them to otherwise go flying across the floor!

Sehr gute Krallenschere
