Misleading and disappointing - abridged version!!!
This book is advertised as "Jesse Livermore's How-to Trade in Stocks" by Jesse Livermore and does not mention anywhere that it is an abridged version. This is a text only version of 77 pages - I believe it is missing up to 150 pages of charts relating to Jesse Livermore's strategies - the full version has 225 pages. The full version is called "How to Trade in Stocks" by Jesse Livermore. You are not buying the full book if you buy this advertised version - misleading advertising...!!!

Inexpensive easy access to Livermore's wisdom, in his own words
It is nice to see Livermore's insights re-printed in this short, inexpensive book that he wrote long ago. Anyone interested in learning how Jesse Livermore traded and made several fortunes can find it here without having to read the longer LeFerve's classic book on him. The only disappointment for me is that the book does not include Jesse's stock matrix showing how he applied the rules presented to a few stocks. To get this, one has to buy one of the previous editions of this book. I never understood the matrix anyway, and it is not needed with today's automatic charting programs that did not exist in the 1940's. I intend to add this book to the required reading list for my undergraduate honors course on technical analysis.

Consider this a summary of the original.
Has the main points, but missing other information. Kind of low effort - there are several mistakes in the printing as if someone copied, pasted, and printed it without reviewing or reading it themselves.
