Does it leave residue? Like the white stuff

Yes, it does. I'm trying to figure out how to make it stop because it works really well for setting and elongating curly hair but if you apply daily you get stuck with white residue.

Should I start to apply this to my head now if I’m planning on perming my hair in a few months?
