Great for forearms
Started with green, have moved on to blue. I do four exercises- twisted 180 degree clockwise and CCW, bending up into a U, and down into an arc, holding all four in position 30 seconds. Short, easy, do it any time. Surface has striations for good grip. Have increased forearm muscles and mad a significant different in my grip and arm strength. Actually the four exercises will stress arms and shoulders building them to. A really satisfying exerciseโฆ.

INCREDIBLE!!!
This product is amazing. Had several cortisome shots followed by (30 days later) PRP. Extremely painful those were. The pain went away, but with a little activity the pain would come back. I tried EVERY kind of brace, cold and hot packs, massages, nothing helped. I was hurting in both elbows. Went to OTs, nothing helped. I couldn't brush my pain without pain. Then I found the flex bar. I bought the red one first. It did wonders. I was afraid to do almost anything fearing that the pain would come back. It worked great but seemed like the rubber loosened up or got weaker in strength. I had great results. I couldn'the believe it. I was pain free for awhile. Then the pain came back. I bought the blue one. It was way too wide. You need monsters paws for this one. And it's so thick that it's tough to get a workout with it. Then I bought the green one. It fits just right. The strength required is normal. It probably fits most guy's hands. I'm able to hit golf balls now. I could never do that before with the pain. The pain does come back. Not to the previous intensity bUT it's there. I pull out my green flex bar and let it do its magic. I have recommended this to at least eight people. They all love it. My father and his golfing partner for over 40 years have had tennis elbow for over 30 years. Not anymore. They golf pain free now. They were skeptics for a long time. I kept telling them. They kept refusing. Then my pops broke down and tried it. He loved it. His friend denied it for almost a year but saw my father was happy after swinging his clubs. Now he too is a believer. They are able to play tennis without pain, too. The pain will probably come after playing sports or lifting heavy stuff. All you have to do is pull out the flex bar and person the Jacob''s twist. My buddy is an OT. He says, "we have those, they're OK. Ha! It takes away business from him. Probably my best purchase from Amazon. And that says a lot.

I just ordered this for inners golfers elbow. Very well made! I will be using this 2-3 times a day. Feels like a good stretch. Only time will tell. If u have moderate strength get the blue one. Green was too easy for me.

Choosing The Right Color & Resistance for Your Tennis Elbow Therapy
Somehow, I managed to get an annoying case of "tennis elbow", even though I do not play tennis on engage in any repetitive swinging or flexing elbow movements. I decided to try these high-recommended Thera-Band Flexbars, and use them to practice the widely-endorsed "Tyler Twist" exercise that studies have shown will cure "tennis elbow" within a few weeks in most cases. You should do a Google or YouTube Search for: "Tyler Twist" for videos that show this very quick and simple exercise, to make sure you understand how to do it properly. It is particularly important to remember that you must hold your arms extended fully straight (not bent at the elbows) in order to gain maximum therapeutic benefit of the exercise. Doing it properly, you should... as weight lifters say, "feel the burn" at least a little bit, in the muscles of your forearm and elbow. The Thera-Band Flex Bars come in four color-coded levels of resistance. Blue: 25 pounds resistance Green: 15 pounds resistance Red: 10 pounds resistance Yellow: 6 pounds resistance The yellow (6 pounds) is only for people who are severely injured and are unable to twist against any slight resistance without experiencing significant pain. The red and green are of very similar medium resistance (10 & 15 pounds), and they are popular choices for those experiencing a typical level of pain. The blue is a heavy resistance (25 pounds) and it is a good choice for those experiencing only light to moderate pain... or for those who have strengthened their forearm and elbow muscles using the lesser-resistance bars, and are ready to advance to a "maintenance and prevention" level of exercising to keep tennis elbow from returning. I found that after just a week of using the red... I was ready to advance to the blue, so I now own both the red and blue Thera-band Flexbars. It should also be noted that you can further vary the level of resistance greatly on any particular color of Thera-Band Flexbar, by simply grasping and twisting the bar a bit more... or twisting it a bit less... to change the level of resistance tension within the rubber. This technique alone can increase the resistance by as much as a doubling of the resistance level. Each Thera-band Flexbar comes with an instruction booklet offering a wide range of additional suggested exercises, but honestly... most of those additional exercises seem a bit silly and superfluous to me (rolling the bar behind your neck to ease a sore neck... really?). Using these bars for the "Tyler Twist" to cure tennis elbow is truly almost the exclusive use of this product... but it is the ideal product for treating tennis elbow.

Use it right, and it'll work
The product works. Had golfer's elbow, tried all other exercises and PT routines to not avail. Being that I'm an athletic person, I purchased a blue bar, and started doing the reverse Tyler twist, 5 reps per set for a few days. As the pain subsided, I increased the reps to 10, then 15 reps per set. Eventually I started performing the regular Tyler twist, then the other exercises in the manual. The pain and tenderness in my affected arm has subsided greatly, and I'm getting back into my regular workout regimen, albeit with some modifications for now. Be advised: Progress takes time. This will not instantly cure you. You may find your tendinitis gets slightly worse after a set, but the pain should go away a minute or two after performing the exercise. A few other notes: 1. If you decide to go with the blue bar, start out with only 5 reps per set, and gradually increase your reps when you've noticed less pain in your arm and the reps become easier. 2. Do not push yourself, or you will strain your already sensitive muscles & ligaments. 3. Read the manual, look at white papers on the website, and educate yourself on your problem so you won't aggravate your injury during these exercises, or afterward when going back into you bad habits or routine. 4. Take the exercises slowly, increase reps gradually, listen to your body, and your pain should subside. Only complaint I have is the website desperately needs a better user interface, and some of the the illustrated sketches in the manual do not clearly demonstrate all the nuances of some of the more complicated exercises (e.g. Tyler twist).

Blown Away
I probably have every rehab/prehab/mobility tool you can buy. Foam rollers, vibrating rollers, lacrosse balls of all sizes, peanut, pso-rite, pso-spine, massage guns, yoga blocks, scrapers, voodoo floss, cupping tools, you name it I probably have it. This thing hands down beats all of them. It comes with a handy book to visually show you what it can do, but dont forget to also check youtube as there are even more exercises you can do. If you travel and usually bring a roller or peanut, this handy bar will change your mind and you'll only be grabbing the flexbar from now on. I originally bought it just for my elbows, and I am amazed at how well it exercises and release pain in them. My elbows have never felt like this before, you can physically feel it in your elbows after doing tyler twists and similar movements, you will KNOW its working. Even if you're doing other rehab exercises for golfers or tennis elbow using different equipment you might already have in your gym, trust me nothing will maybe your elbows feel it like the Theraband Flexbar. My only regret is not buying it sooner. This is NOT a paid ad, this thing is just that good.

This cured my golfer's elbow
Had golfer's elbow for many months. Tried massage and eccentric dumbbell exercises but no signs of improvement. Gave this a shot and after 5 weeks, I'm back to normal with no pain. I started with the blue which provides max resistance but I should probably have tried green to begin with. You should begin to notice a slight improvement after a week if you follow the exercises. I did 3 sets of 12 each day. Dumbbells don't provide the same kind of resistance that this does which is why I think it works so well. With the blue flexbar, I had to slightly modify the technique to prevent myself from developing tennis elbow in the good arm. Just pin that good elbow to your side when doing the reverse tyler twist.

Fun to use, full-arm stabilizer/corrective exercises.
Fantastic product. I'ma big ol' child, so doing corrective exercises to combat the stressors of adult life working 40 hours in steel toes.. is just ..plain.. is not fun. These wobbly rods are a fun way to giggle the shoulder back into its proper place! Fun to use while watching television for low impact use after a hard day. This is my second blue one. I have played around and had some really fun, ergonomic, full arm stabilizer exercises just jamming out to some music. My tip for more intense oscillation exercise: Pretend you are drumming(probably won't work for an actual drummer because they would have muscle memory for how a drum stick actually behaves), or find the rhythm and create a gryoscopic battle rope situation. I hope that description is accurate. "Gyroscopic battle rope situation", lol. Pretend you are a hard rock drummer with a full circle drum set and just feel the wobble with the rhythm- can make it as intense as you like. Getting a good wobble on these big blue ones will get difficult very quickly, but the music (and rhythmic wobble of the natural rubber) makes it so fun! Something else if both put to each side with outstretched arms. It can assist in something I believe called "fascia hopping"? I dunno.. another suggested use. It's a wobbly rod that lets you play with forces like momentum and gravity in rhythmic fashion- endless uses beyond the recommended ones.

Fantastic tool..!
This blue flexbar was delivered just few hours back and I have used it enough since it was delivered to say that this is a fantastic tool to work the grip, wrists, and forearms. It will obviously take some time to alleviate the pain I have near my elbows and I hope that it does that. Most of the reviews do say that this did help people with tennis elbow/golfers elbow so I am upbeat and do hope that it does help me to get rid of the pain that I have suffered from for last 32 years.
