Gold Mount model is great!
The battery is a great bargain but you have to understand that the Gold Mount cannot be charged by an Anton Bauer charger. AB chargers apparently can sense if it’s not hooked to an AB battery. That’s not a problem because you can order a low price charger for this battery that can charge two of its batteries at the same time. This battery also has a digital readout as to its charge level. The plug-in charger recharged quickly. I’ma fan!

It didn't work
This battery must have been a dud. Despite numerous attempts across my various devices, they would not power up.

Highly functional replacement battery
Kastar to the rescue! There's nothing better than a perfectly functional and compatible replacement battery from a reputable brand. If you're doing any type of video work you can't have enough batteries. There's plenty of third party options but Kastar has earned a reputation for delivering quality products. On top of everything, it's priced significantly less than the OEM battery! Highly recommended!
