Better then the a50 gen 4
It's a preference but I like it more then the a50. I got the a50 and there was an interference problem with my 2.4Ghz devices, so the solution that came to my mind is to return it and get the a40 tr I was worried that it was going to be worse then the a50 but it truned out that the a40 is better in terms of comfortably and sound as long as you don't care about the cables, In my opinion it's worth the mess.

Goed maar een beetje duur
Na jaren gebruik (+10j) van een Razer Megladon dan toch maar beslist om een nieuwe headset te kopen. Na het nodige onderzoek uitgekomen bij de Astro A40 , en tot hier toe nog geen spijt van de aankoop. Mooi desine goede geluidskwaliteit bij gamen en video En de Mix Amp pro is een mooie uitbreiding vooral met team missies door de mogelijkheid om de teamspeak en de game sound uit te lichten Toch heb ik een paar puntjes waardoor ik geen 5 sterren geef De set is prijzig De set is naar de kleine kant en de te verkrijgen upgrades, uitbreidingen zijn dit ook De mix amp firmwear is moeilijk up te daten (weigert dit bij mij momenteel ) Al bij al een goede headset als men over een groter buget beschikt

4D rollercoaster of sound
So far, so good !!! I absolutely loved these headphones after busing my Hyper X Cloud II for close to 5 years. These headphones are the most comfortable ones I’ve ever worn ! Fairly easy to setup and it sounds phenomenal in FPS games. ( most of what I play). I was able to determine if the enemies were below, above or on the sides. I haven’t tried it with movies yet but looking forward to it. The included 2 year subscription to Dolby Atmos was a nice bonus I didn’t expect :) 10/10 would recommend for any serious gamer. The price is steep but it does improve immersion and most importantly gameplay. Thank you !

Ok headset!
It's a very comfortable headset with easy access to hear gaming sound or party chat. I'm okay with the soundstage on these headset. The astro app works fine with my Xbox Series X and have access to download new firmware and change to my own personal EQ. I'll give these headset 4/5 because with these pricerange there should at least come with leather Cushions and 50mm driver for bigger sound and base. I've have tried allot of headset and the astro a40 is not my best tested headset. My creative sxfi gamer have a more bigger sound stage in all fronts and it is much cheaper then Astro A40. But overall I wanted a lightweight and comfortable headset and the Astro A40 doesn't let me down.
